Hi all. As some of you might know, I’m riding 200km (between Perth and Mandurah) to help raise vital funds for cancer research this October.
It’s a big physical toll, but it’s worth it. Every donation I raise goes to cancer research at the Perkins.
This month is Skin Cancer Awareness Month. Melanoma is the third most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia. For those with advanced cases, the odds of survival are just 50%. Fortunately, the Perkins cancer researchers are on the case!
Their melanoma discovery team hope to introduce new, effective treatment options to improve the statistics. But they need our help. With extra funding, we can progress their research and help Western Australians live longer, healthier lives.
During May, your donation can also help us celebrate our 200km effort. We’ve got the chance to win access to the VIP Oasis post-ride at the WesTrac Welcome Back at The Camfield.
Please help us conquer melanoma (and the post-ride calf cramps) with a donation today! Thank you.
