A little fun to finish off the block with a Pyjama & Crazy Hair Day! 💤🤪

As our students make their way home today, we ask that you continue to keep them in your prayers. May God guide and strengthen them as they take what they’ve learnt back into their local communities and put it into practice.

We pray that the lessons, friendships and experiences from this block will continue to make a difference long after they leave campus. 🙏🏽❤️

We’ve had a busy start to another block for our Year 1 students at Mamarapha College!

We’re excited to welcome two new students, Grant Bobongie and Kara Waireg, to the Mamarapha family. We also had some very special visitors on the second day of block, with The Incredible Journey team stopping by the College.

Pr Gary Kent, Pr Gordon Gossett and his wife Kerry, and Roger Millist shared the story of the incredible journey around Australia and brought along the 1926 Essex Super Six for our students to see. It was a wonderful opportunity to hear about this unique journey and get up close to a piece of Australian history.

Pr Darren Garlett is also joining us this week as a guest lecturer, while our Year 1 students have been busy preparing to lead the Sabbath program at Cannington SDA Church tomorrow.

If you’re in the area, we’d love for you to come along and support our students as they put what they’ve been learning into practice and share their faith with the church family.

We’re looking forward to seeing you there! 🙏🏽

Yesterday, our staff and students took a special NAIDOC chapel at Carmel Adventist College.

After the chapel our students stayed to participate in activities such as facepainting, weaving, bracelet making, rock painting and a damper station run by Carmel Adventist College so their students could learn more about Indigenous culture!

Lorraine finished her studies last year, graduating with an Advanced Diploma of Indigenous Ministry & Lifestyle Health Promotion. She is now helping people in her community and her family, sharing what she has learnt.
