✨ Meet the Team Monday! ✨

This week, we're introducing the lovely Jorja! 💚

Jorja's journey with Cocoon began right here in our Joey Room, where she joined us as a trainee and quickly proved to be a complete natural! 🌿 From the very beginning, her warm and easy-going nature made her a wonderful fit with our children, families and team.

Since completing her traineeship, Jorja has become one of our amazing casual educators, which means you'll often see her friendly face popping up across the centre and lending a hand wherever she is needed! 💛

When she's not at Cocoon, you'll likely find her at the beach, doing Pilates or planning her next adventure. 🌊🧘‍♀️ This October, she’s heading back to Korea, China and Vietnam for the THIRD time! 🌏 Safe to say, she’s definitely caught the travel bug! 💚

We're so lucky to have watched Jorja grow from a trainee into the confident and caring educator she is today, and we're so grateful to have her as part of our Cocoon family! 💚

✨ Meet the Team Monday! ✨

This week, we're introducing the wonderful Katie! 💚

Katie is one of our dedicated Early Childhood Teachers in the Kangaroo Room, where you'll find her every Thursday and Friday supporting our preschoolers as they learn, grow and prepare for their next big adventure – big school! 🦘📚

Originally from London, Katie made the move to Australia many years ago and has proudly called Australia home ever since. As a mum herself, Katie brings such a warm, nurturing and understanding approach to her role, creating meaningful connections with the children and families in our Kangaroo Room.

A little fun fact about Katie... she is an ultramarathon runner! 🏃‍♀️🏅 When she's not in the classroom, you might find her taking on distances most of us wouldn't even dream of running! Her determination, dedication and love of a challenge definitely shine through in everything she does.

We're so grateful to have Katie as part of our Cocoon family! 💚

🦷✨ Dental Health Week may have passed, but the lessons are staying with us! We loved having the wonderful team from Kareela Family Dental visit our little ones and teach them all about the importance of looking after their teeth and keeping those smiles healthy. 🪥😁💙

This week, we're introducing the wonderful Alissa! 💚

Alissa has been part of the Cocoon family since 2016, recently celebrating an incredible 10 years with us! 🎉

As one of our dedicated Baby Room Educators, Alissa has a true gift for nurturing our youngest learners. Her calm, caring nature and creative mind help create a warm, engaging environment where every child feels safe, loved and supported.

A little fun fact about Alissa... supporting children doesn't stop when she leaves work! 💛 She's a happily married mum of two teenagers and a busy sports mum who loves living a healthy, active lifestyle. You'll often find her cheering her children and their teams on from the sidelines. She's passionate about helping young people build confidence, develop resilience, and become the very best version of themselves both in and out of Cocoon.

Jess brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team and is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences for our children. When she's not at Cocoon, you'll likely find her travelling the world, cheering on her favourite sports teams, or enjoying a delicious cheese platter! 🧀✈️🏉

Our Cocoon team refreshed their CPR and First Aid qualifications with the incredible team at AFS, ensuring their skills and knowledge remain current and ready for any situation.

We're proud of our educators for their ongoing commitment to providing a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for every child, and grateful to AFS for delivering another engaging and hands on training session.

Because at Cocoon, the safety and wellbeing of our children will always come first. 🤍
