Hi Playgroup Community, we have been generously donated a smallish fridge. Fridge collection is booked for this Fri at 10.15am in the City. We are seeking someone semi strong who may be nearby Roma Street Station at that time to bring their muscle and help with a quick lift into the vehicle 💪 Please reach out if you know of anyone who could help. We have a vehicle and driver but the driver is unable to do lifting.

Does anybody know anybody who knows anybody who may be able to collect (or at least help load) a small fridge from Brisbane CBD for playgroup? Pick up time can be flexible. Ideally you have a Ute or tall van.

We're excited to announce that bookings are now open for the Karalee Playgroup Rummage Sale happening on Sunday, 30th August from 9:00am to 11:30am.

Stallholders are welcome to set up anytime from 7:30am.

Sites are available for $10 and include the option of a picnic rug space, or you can bring your own tables. Please note that you must be a Karalee Playgroup Member to book a site.

Karalee Butterflies and their older siblings (under 16) are invited to host their own stalls on shared tables. These child stalls are free of charge, and we have six available, each approximately 1 square meter. Kids are welcome to sell handmade crafts, toys, and other small items.

Items encouraged for the Rummage Sale include tools, art and craft supplies, plants, toys, clothing for all ages, shoes, books, household goods, and more.
When booking your site, please include a brief description or photo of your most desirable item(s). These will be used to help promote the event.

The Rummage Sale is free for the community to attend. We’ll also have a $50 lucky door prize kindly donated by Coles Karalee, plus a sausage sizzle to help raise funds for Playgroup.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED: should you be available on the day to assist with the Sausage Sizzle, please reply with the times you are available. We would be grateful for your help!

Karalee Playgroup are happy to be a part of the PeopleFirst Community Lottery again this year! Tickets are $2 each, and all of that money goes towards purchasing new outdoor toys!

Tickets can be purchased here, and you can win a car (among other things!)

🦋 Karalee Butterflies Playgroup – Rummage Sale Stalls Now Open! 🦋

It’s time to declutter, cash in, and be part of a fun community morning. Our Rummage Sale is happening on Sunday 30th August, 9:00am–11:30am, and stall bookings are now open for Playgroup members.

Stall Options:

$10 – 2x2m picnic blanket space (set up on the ground)

$5 – 1m² benchtop space on a shared table

Attendance is open to the general public with a gold coin donation for entry, so it’s a great chance to rehome your pre‑loved treasures.

Perfect items to sell:
Clothing, toys, bric‑a‑brac, craft supplies, games and more — if it’s in good condition, someone will love it.

All funds raised go straight back into Playgroup resources and activities, helping us keep creating wonderful experiences for our little ones.
