Creating a safe sleep environment is one of the many ways we care for children each day. From following safe sleep practices and using approved cots, to completing visual checks every 5 minutes, our educators take every step to help children rest safely and comfortably.

We also work closely with families to understand each child's individual sleep routine, because feeling safe, settled and well-rested helps children learn, grow and thrive.

💜 Safe sleep is everyone's responsibility, and it's always a priority.

Today our Centre Director, had the opportunity to attend the South East Queensland North Professional Development Day.

Goodstart Early Learning recognises that professional development is important to ensure that high-quality care starts with the leaders of our centres. With keynote speaker Julie McKay (cultural change and inclusion leader) and presenters Professor Karen Thorpe, Dannika Patterson and Dr. Lyndal O’Gorman the day provided many opportunities for reflection and collaboration on Children’s Rights, Change Leadership and Sustainability in ECEC.

Today, we celebrate the incredible educators who make such a difference in the lives of children and families every single day.

Thank you for the cuddles when little hearts need comfort, the patience when things feel challenging, the laughter that fills our rooms, and the endless encouragement that helps children believe in themselves.

Thank you for seeing the child behind every big emotion, celebrating every little achievement, asking questions, sparking curiosity and creating a safe place where children can simply be themselves.

What you do goes far beyond teaching. You nurture confidence, build relationships, create memories and help shape the foundations for a lifetime of learning.

Your work may not always be easy, and it may not always be recognised in the moment, but please know that what you do matters — deeply.

Every smile, every story, every song, every messy play experience, every comforting hug and every “I’m so proud of you” leaves a lasting mark on a child’s world.

To our amazing educators — thank you for your hearts, your dedication, your kindness and the love you bring to our children each day.
