This term, Tjilkamarta children have been learning all about different insects. To support our learning, we have welcomed some stick insects into our classroom to observe and care for. This morning some of our Tjilkamarta friends were very brave and had a turn holding our stick insect Sam! It was a wonderful opportunity to get an up-close look at his interesting body features and practice being gentle and caring with living things.
