Vacation Care Day Eight – MasterChef Kids! 🧑‍🍳

On Wednesday at Kalbar OSHC the children got creative in the kitchen, turning into amazing little chefs!

The kids baked their favourite goodies, including brownies, choc chip cookies and cupcakes, then had lots of fun decorating their delicious creations with icing and yummy toppings! We then put their taste buds to the test with some fun mystery food guessing challenges! 🍪🧁

A delicious day full of creativity, laughter and tasty treats! 🍭

Vacation Care Day Seven – World Record Day! 🎯

On Tuesday the children at Kalbar OSHC were challenged to go bigger, better and longer as we tried to set some of our very own world records!

The kids got creative by colouring in the longest colouring-in, building the best paper plane for the furthest flight, participating in Minute-to-Win-It indoor and outdoor records, including keeping the balloon in the air and a variety of ball games and challenges on the playground, as well as trying dig out the longest sandpit tunnel! 🏀🎈

It was a day full of teamwork, friendly competition, determination and plenty of fun. We may not have broken any official world records, but we certainly made some great memories! 🎉

Vacation Care Day Six – Pixar Pals! 🍿

The first day of Vacation Care for week 2 of the school holidays was all about creativity, imagination and plenty of fun!

Our children brought their favourite characters to life using air-dry clay, created some very silly balloon shapes, and enjoyed lots of bubbly fun with bubble play! 🫧

It was a fantastic day filled with creativity, laughter and Pixar-inspired adventures! 🎬

Vacation Care Day Five - Slumber Party! 🥳

What better way to finish our first week of Vacation Care than with the ultimate Slumber Party Day!

The children came dressed in their comfiest PJs and enjoyed a jam-packed day, decorating their very own sleeping masks, building amazing pillow forts, painting their nails with nail polish and fun stickers, making colourful loom band jewellery and creating beautiful dream catchers! 💝

There were plenty of giggles, creativity and cosy vibes throughout the day. A perfect way to wrap up an amazing week of Vacation Care! 🌟

Vacation Care Day Four - Retro Craft Revival! 🎨

Today we took a trip back in time with our Retro Craft Revival! The kids got creative decorating their very own mugs, painting colourful slap bands, bedazzling a gem sunset artwork and making funky tie-dye scrunchies! ✨

And when the crafting was done, it was time to hit the track with some Mario Kart racing! 🎮

Vacation Care Day Three – Around the World! 🌏

Today at Kalbar OSHC the children explored the world and celebrated different cultures through fun creativity!

The children learnt greetings from around the world through a scavenger hunt challenge, played a variety of outdoor games from diverse cultures, learnt dances from different countries on Just Dance, created origami, made their own passports and received their very own fortune inside fortune cookies! 🥠🗺️

Vacation Care Day Two - Survivor Island 🏝️

Our second day of Vacation Care at Kalbar OSHC took us to Survivor Island, where the children put their creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test!

The children enjoyed an exciting Toolbox Building Incursion with Andy from Little Green Thumbs, working together to create shelters to take on the Egg Drop Challenge and see who could protect their egg and then, tie-dying of their very own bandanas, adding a splash of colour to our Survivor Island adventures! 🎨

A fun-filled day of challenges, teamwork and plenty of laughs. We can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings! ✨

Vacation Care Day One - Spring Spectacular! 🌸

Our first day of Vacation Care at Kalbar OSHC was all about celebrating the colours, creativity and fun of spring!

The children enjoyed making their own fairy gardens, creating beautiful flower headbands and getting creative with chalk drawings outside! 🧚🌻

That’s a wrap on Term 3 at Kalbar OSHC!🌟

What an amazing term it has been! We’ve had so much fun learning, creating, exploring and making memories together at Before and After School Care!

From exciting activities and creative projects to games, laughter and plenty of adventures, the children have brought so much energy and joy to KOSHC each day!

A big thank you to our wonderful children, families and educators for making Term 3 so special! 💛

We hope everyone has a fantastic school holiday break! We can’t wait to see everyone either during Vacation Care or back next term! 🎉
