Last week some of our classes participated in National Simultaneous Storytime 2026 (NSS) to read Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, illustrated by Jake Minton and published by Little Book Press.

NSS is one of the Australia’s most beloved annual reading events, bringing together millions of children, families, libraries, schools and early learning centres to share the same story, at the same time, right across Australia. It’s a joyful celebration of reading, literacy, community – and a reminder of the essential role libraries play in nurturing learning, connection and a love of stories.

💥 WE URGENTLY NEED A NEW SECRETARY! 💥

Without a Secretary, we cannot run events for our school. That means no School Disco or Bake Sale in Term 3, and our Fete could be in danger of not going ahead.

What an amazing dance concert we had this week! Congratulations to all students, well done to Miss Ameduri and her helpers as well as parents for making sure the students looked fantastic in their costumes!! 🕺💙🪩
