Remember when for recess, you would get milk in a bottle?

Ahh.. the good old days.. when crates of milk were delivered and sat on the balcony outside the Kindy room.. getting warm in the morning sun.

Although these images are not specific to KPS (K-2), they are terrific reminders of years past :-)

Sharks in Lake Macquarie
As kids growing up in Lake Macquarie, you were always scared/cautious about swimming in the Lake.

Last easter weekend… our childhood nightmares came true as a shark breached the surface near our tiny tinny.

Whilst it was no Great White… it was enough the scare the hell out of us… and so we high tailed it as fast as the tiny 6HP motor would take us.

Have you experience any encounters with our marine friends in the Lake or beach?
