It has been all about celebrating the joy of reading for Book Week! Our students enjoyed a range of fun library activities, including the Book Bop, crafts, and a special visit from author and illustrator Lucinda Gifford.

Today we finished the week with our Book Week Parade. We loved seeing the creativity, imagination, and effort that went into bringing favourite book characters to life.

What a great week at Harvest! πŸ”¬πŸ§πŸ

We celebrated National Science Week with lots of curious activities and experiments. Our Stage 1 Food and Hospitality students got creative decorating their themed cupcakes, and they looked (and tasted!) delicious! We also celebrated our Year 7/8 Netball Team, who finished runners-up in their SACSA competition after a fantastic tournament. What an effort!

What a fantastic effort from our 7/8 Netball team at the SACSA Carnival at the Golden Grove netball courts yesterday! πŸ’™

The team went undefeated through the minor round, playing six fantastic games and showing great teamwork, determination and sportsmanship.

Unfortunately, the grand final didn’t go our way, and our team lost to a fellow Tyndale Group school, Tyndale Christian School - Strathalbyn. They played an incredible game and were worthy winners!

A huge congratulations to our team on an outstanding carnival. We are so proud of the way you represented Harvest! πŸ‘

What a wonderful week at Harvest! We were blessed to welcome the Governor of South Australia, the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, and her husband, Mr Bunten, to our College.

Our students also proudly represented Harvest at the Year 5/6 SACSA Netball, while our Show Team made history by exhibiting sheep at the Copper Coast Show for the very first time! πŸ‘
