Applications are now open for the 2026/27 Apprentice Jockey Training Program.

The Apprentice Jockey Training Program is a four-year, full-time pathway to becoming a professional jockey, building the skills and fitness needed to compete at the highest level, here and around the world.

Applications close 31 August 2026.

Expressions of interest are now open for the 2026/27 Trackwork Rider Training Program.

Designed for current trackwork riders in WA, the program provides valuable training and development opportunities to help riders build their skills, grow their experience and progress their careers in racing.

For those with aspirations of becoming a jockey, the program also serves as the pathway into Racing WA’s Apprentice Jockey Training Program.
