Last Thursday and Friday of Week 9, a large group of our students proudly represented Jimboomba State School at the Kingfisher Cup in Netball and Rugby League. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‰

These students dedicated countless lunch breaks throughout the term in the lead-up to the competition, giving up their time each week to train, develop their skills and prepare as a team.

Their hard work, commitment and dedication truly paid off, with every student representing our school with immense pride, respect and outstanding sportsmanship. ๐Ÿ’š

๐Ÿฅˆ Junior Team 1: 2nd place after a very close Grand Final finish.
๐Ÿฅ‰ Senior Team 1: 3rd place overall, narrowly missing out on a place in the Grand Final.

๐Ÿ† Girls Team: 1st place! The girls went undefeated throughout the entire competition to bring home the championship! A huge congratulations to Heidi H, who was awarded Best and Fairest for the competition โ€” an outstanding achievement! ๐Ÿ‘

A reminder to all students attending Kingfisher Cup tomorrow that you must be at school before 8:00am. ๐ŸšŒ

๐Ÿ‰ Rugby League students MUST have a mouthguard.
๐Ÿงข ALL students MUST have a school hat.

โš ๏ธ Students without the required equipment will not be permitted to board the buses.
