A reminder to our families that our Book Week Fair is tomorrow! Come along dressed as your favourite character. Parents are invited to join us from 1:30 to have a picnic, purchase some books and to watch the costume parade.

This week students in KJ used hands-on materials and mathematical thinking to explore how numbers can be organised into equal pairs. They discovered that “there are no spares in pairs!” NSW Department of Education

What a fantastic day out for our Stage 2 students! We enjoyed a sunny fruit break overlooking the harbour before exploring Newcastle’s rich history and getting hands-on with the exciting science activities at the museum. 🔬⚙️

We then headed to the Art Gallery to explore and appreciate a range of artworks. 🎨

Our students displayed excellent behaviour throughout the day and represented our school with pride. We are so proud of the way they conducted themselves and embraced every learning opportunity.

A big thank you to our wonderful Stage 2 team for organising such a fun and enriching day! 👏💙

✨🌟Proud moments this week at JPS! 🌟✨

Last night, Mr McGill was honoured to join Khadijeh, Alesha, Connor, KJ, Nedhi and Omar (absent) as they received very special awards at the Callaghan Inspire Awards.

Today, our debating team came away with a win against Lambton PS. This is a tremendous effort from JPS who now have three wins up their sleeves. A big thank you to the Lambton PS team for the great debate!
