Today we celebrate all the amazing dads, father figures, and role models who support, encourage, and inspire their children every day.

Thank you for being the quiet cheerleaders at lessons, the practice-time motivators at home, and the ones who help keep the music going 🎸🎹🥁🎤

Wishing you a relaxing and well-deserved day filled with love, appreciation, and maybe even a little music shared together 💙

Great piano playing is built on strong technique. Developing good habits early can make playing feel smoother, easier, and more expressive over time 🎵

Here are 5 helpful tips to improve your piano technique:

✨ Practise slowly before increasing speed
✨ Keep your fingers curved and relaxed
✨ Use a metronome to improve timing
✨ Focus on hand coordination and control
✨ Practise consistently, even in short sessions

Remember — progress comes from quality practice, not just playing fast 🎹

At Do Re Mi Studios, we help students build confidence, technique, and musicality in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Starting a musical instrument is exciting — but every beginner faces challenges along the way. The good news? Mistakes are a normal part of learning and improving! 💪

Here are a few common beginner mistakes to avoid:

🎵 Practising too fast
🎵 Skipping the basics
🎵 Poor posture or technique
🎵 Inconsistent practice routines
🎵 Comparing yourself to others
🎵 Giving up too quickly when things feel difficult

Remember: progress in music takes patience, consistency, and time. Even professional musicians were once beginners learning their very first notes 🎸🎹🥁🎤

The most important thing is to keep showing up, keep practising, and enjoy the journey of learning music.

At Do Re Mi Studios, we help students build strong foundations, confidence, and a genuine love for music in a supportive and encouraging environment 🎶
