Important message form Main Roads Western Australia – Be Roadwork Aware, Slow Down and Take Care.

With the number of road projects and maintenance activities underway across WA, drivers are being urged to be alert and drive safely through roadwork areas.

31/01/2021

In line with the direction of the WA government yesterday, please note that classes scheduled to take place in Perth this week have been cancelled. All learners booked in (and where necessary, their employers) will be contacted directly to re-schedule.

Our WA team will be working from home and available on phone or email to answer any of your queries.

At this stage, we expect classes to continue as scheduled from next Monday, but if anything changes, we will be in contact with you as soon as we can.

Stay safe, WA.

Dear valued clients

Like all organisations across Australia, the Civil Contractors Federation and Civil Train is closely monitoring developments and advice regarding the COVID-19 virus.

At this point in time, all training will be going ahead as scheduled unless otherwise advised, and absences from training will be addressed as per the current Fees and Refunds Policy.

Civil Train has put revised procedures and structures in place to limit the possibility of contamination and to increase our health and hygiene practices. This includes:

• Increased number of hand sanitisation stations
• No handshake policy
• Classes will be held in the largest available classroom so that learners can spread out
• Removal of communal tea/coffee making facilities
• Staff will be disinfecting common usage areas such as desks, handrails and door handles at regular intervals throughout the day

The Civil Contractors Federation and Civil Train would like to reassure all learners and employers that we are monitoring the COVID-19 situation and we will continue to make thoughtful and planned responses based on information we receive from Departments of authority.

Kind regards
Civil Train SA/NT/WA (RTO 40239)
