Melbourne Contract Bridge Centre

The Melbourne Bridge Club is one of the oldest and largest bridge clubs in Victoria. It is situated upstairs at the MCC Kew Sports Club, 397 Barkers Rd, Kew, 3101. There is a car park onsite with parking for 20 cars.

We have over 360 members of varying levels of skill and experience. We offer lessons for beginners, we have a small bridge library, and are able to source almost any bridge equipment or book requirements. Beginners usually start with Supervised Play on Monday nights and Friday mornings where you can ask for help with bidding or play. Players graduate to Supervised Duplicate Tuesday mornings or Wednesday nights. More experienced players compete in Duplicate sessions occurring on Monday mornings, and Friday or Saturday afternoons. Really competitive sessions are held Tuesday nights.

Tea, coffee, and biscuits are available throughout all sessions.

Come along, new players are welcome! It is really important for us that you not only learn to play, but that you also enjoy doing so.

The Melbourne Bridge Centre is the oldest private Bridge Club in Victoria and is one of the largest. The Clubrooms are spacious and have a comfortable playing area for up to 20 tables.
Ian and Sandra Mansell are the Directors along with assistance from Sally Foster, Darcy Funnell, and Rex Fox. Ian and Sandra teach beginners how to play bridge with structured lessons and also follow on with a supervised play program for beginners and intermediate players conducted through the Kew School of Bridge.
Competitive duplicate bridge sessions are also provided for more experienced players.
Our aim is for players to enjoy their Bridge at Melbourne Bridge Club. Visitors and new members are always welcome. A partner will always be provided if necessary, so do come along and experience the friendship of the club.
