Thankyou to everyone who joined us for science week last Friday. We had a fabulous day with a morning webinar from Questacon all about coral & then an afternoon making rockets, snap lock bag icecream, volcanoes, skittle rainbows and oobleck.

What a busy day!!!! We started off our morning by performing for the seniors morning tea & were treated to mini Dutch pancakes.

We then had a visiting Shake & Stir workshop creating Picasso crazy creatures and then finished off today participating in a Livestream space event with a special message from 2026 Australian of the Year & astronaut, Katherine Bennell-Pegg.

We even squeezed in a few hours of learning!

At parade on Friday afternoon Dale & Christine, on behalf of the Isisford CAN committee, donated $3000 towards school camp. Thank you to our community for helping to contribute to this through your donation of cans. That’s 30,000 cans going towards directly supporting our children.
We are very appreciative!!!

On Tuesday night, the Isisford State School students performed for the The Rotary Club of Dubbo South Inc as they stopped over on their car rally.

Between the auction items, including a 1992 Outback Destination belt which was generously donated by a member of the rally and a very generous donation from Rotary Dubbo South, over $9,000 was raised to help send our students to camp at the Sunshine Coast in November.

We are so grateful for the generosity of our visitors and hope you enjoyed your time in Isisford! Destination Outback

Earlier this year, our school entered the Ekka Goat competition, and Huxley was one of 20 students chosen across the state to paint his design onto a life-sized goat for the Ekka display.

It took a few weeks, but together, the students painted 'Artie' and he headed back down to Brisbane. Thankyou Meg Bassingthwaighte for the photo of Huxley's goat at the Ekka Goat display.

A big Thankyou to everyone who came to Sir Wally Rae Sports on Friday. Although we didn’t get photos of everything, students participated in a range of track & field events, including inflatable unicorn races for the littlest participants. We had a wonderful day and cannot wait to see everyone next year!

A lovely way to finish Week 3! Students travelled to Ilfracombe State School on Friday to spend the day together. Everyone had a fantastic time performing alongside Musica Viva’s El Camino, enjoying a lively musical journey through Latin America.

Congratulations to all of the Isisford State School students who attended the Aramac Sports Carnival yesterday. After an early 5.00am departure, we had a wonderful day!
