Continuing on from our last post....
The Year 7/8 Girls Basketball team had a fantastic day at the Interschool competition on Monday, showing great teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the day. πŸ’ͺ

The team started strongly, 53–2, before continuing their winning form with a 30–5 victory. They then secured their place in the Grand Final after an impressive 41–4 win.

In the Grand Final, the girls fought hard right until the final whistle, finishing runners-up after a 25–8 loss. Despite the result, the team should be extremely proud of their efforts and the way they represented the school.

A special mention goes to Audrina, Abbey, Raffy and Winnie, who were standouts throughout the competition and made valuable contributions to the team's success. πŸ˜„

Thank you Jeff Blow for driving the bus!!! And of course to Brooke for coaching the side.

This year with the local hockey pitch being upgraded our Interschool Hockey event was played on the grass pitch. We had one team ranging for Year 7 - 10 girls.πŸ‘

We played against Merbein yesterday and it was a tough game right from the first whistle. πŸ‘€

Both teams had strong hockey players and there was a lot of play in the middle of the pitch as both sides fought for possession of the ball.
The game went to shoot outs to decide the winner, which was Merbein. We wish them all the best for the next stages!

A big thank you to all the parents and families that came down in support of both teams, Annalise for umpiring the game for us, Kara for coaching. Also to Jeff for getting us there and back. πŸ‘
