What an amazing day we had at our 2026 Athletics Day!

It was fantastic to see our students getting involved, having a go and cheering each other on throughout the day! There were plenty of smiles, some great competition and lots of proud moments across all of our events! 🌟

Congratulations to everyone who received a ribbon, achieved a personal best or simply gave something new a go! 🥇🥈🥉

🌟 Grade 5/6 Electives in Action!

On Friday our Grade 5/6 students were busy getting stuck into their electives! From creating and problem-solving to cooking, building and everything in between, it’s been fantastic to see so much enthusiasm and teamwork across each group.

Parents and carers attending on the day are welcome to order lunch through their child’s Flexischools profile. Simply place your order as usual and collect it from your child’s classroom at lunchtime.

Today we say farewell to the wonderful Mrs Wilson 💛

Mrs Wilson has been a valued member of our Education Support team and an incredibly important part of the Irymple Primary School community. From running our library and Book Club, to Breakfast Club, tutoring students, and supporting staff and children in so many different ways, she has always gone above and beyond.

Thank you, Mrs Wilson, for everything you have done for Irymple Primary School. We are so grateful for your care and commitment, and while you’ll be greatly missed, we wish you all the very best for the next chapter 💛💙

💙 MASP Homelessness Week Goods Drive 💙

This week, our Junior School Council is proud to support the MASP Homelessness Week Goods Drive and help make a difference in our local community.

We are asking families to donate a canned food item with a ring pull or another non-perishable food item to support people in our community who are experiencing homelessness or doing it tough.

📦 Donations can be dropped off at the Front Office by Thursday, 6 August, with all items being delivered to the MASP Goods Drive on Friday, 7 August.

No donation is too small - every contribution helps provide support to those who need it most.

🎉 Student Voice in Action!
Our new Grade 5/6 Electives have officially launched! The idea came directly from our Student Voice teams, who suggested introducing electives to increase student engagement, choice and voice. After persuading our senior teachers, their idea became a reality!

Students have chosen from IPS Newsroom, LEGO Masters, Brain Busters, Origami and the Science of Cooking, with 2 sessions full of creativity, teamwork and fun.

A fantastic example of students helping shape learning at Irymple Primary School! 🌟

We look forward to welcoming our school community to our Assembly this afternoon.
