Australia's Biggest Morning Tea 2026 - Irymple Primary School's Biggest Morning Tea 10/06/2026

On the 16th of June, The Junior School Council are hosting an Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea to help Cancer Council raise vital funds for people impacted by cancer. This year we have set a fundraising goal of $500 and we need your help!

There will be fruit and breakfast snacks available to all students with a gold coin donation on the day. In addition to this, thanks to the generosity of some of our local businesses, we again will be running a raffle for various vouchers valued up to $50.

Tickets will be available for students to purchase from the 17/06-19/06 in the outdoor classroom at lunch play time, $1 a ticket or 6 for $5. The raffle will be drawn the following week.

Your donation will make a real difference. It’ll help fund world-class cancer research, which has already increased cancer survival rates from 49% in the 1980s to 71% today.

It’ll fund prevention initiatives like the HPV vaccine and the new cervical screening program, which have put Australia on track to become the first country to eliminate cervical cancer as a public health problem. How incredible is that?!
Plus, your donation will also importantly help fund support services for the 150,000 Australians who are diagnosed with cancer every year. With support services in higher demand than ever, your help now is particularly vital.
So will you help us reach our goal?

If you would like to give more, we’ve set up a fundraising page so it’s easy to donate online: https://www.biggestmorningtea.com.au/fundraisers/IrymplePrimarySchool2025

Together we can help Australia take big steps towards a cancer free future, so thank you again!

Yesterday, our Year 2 students visited the Eco Village to celebrate World Environment Day. They enjoyed a range of hands-on activities, learning about caring for the environment, protecting wildlife, water filtration, and correct waste sorting. It was a fun and engaging day filled with valuable learning experiences. 🌏♻️

Thankyou to Nadia and her team for putting on a great day, and our helpers for making this a positive day!
