🌱 The BOLERO Workshop on Rootstocks of European and Tropical Fruit Tree Crops has come to an end!

Organized by Agromillora within the Horizon Europe BOLERO project (2022–2026), the event brought together 30 participants from 10 institutions and companies across Europe, Vietnam, and Nicaragua.

Participants had the opportunity to present their latest research and exchange experiences related to rootstocks and grafting in both European and tropical fruit tree crops, with a particular focus on coffee and cocoa, as well as other tropical species. They also visited Agromillora Iberia’s facilities to gain first-hand insight into current technologies used in European fruit crops.

The workshop concluded with a round table, leading to a productive discussion among experts in European and tropical fruit tree crops, focusing on opportunities to enhance adaptive strategies for these cultivars.

A big milestone for our table grape vines now being dispatched into the hands of the growers and planted in their new home! 🌿
From the nursery to the vineyard, every vine carries months of care and attention, having been carefully grafted, hardened off, and quality-checked. We’ve prepped them with solid root systems and balanced shoots, and now the grower is planting them right on schedule for optimal establishment. 🌱
