🌱 The BOLERO Workshop on Rootstocks of European and Tropical Fruit Tree Crops has come to an end!
Organized by Agromillora within the Horizon Europe BOLERO project (2022–2026), the event brought together 30 participants from 10 institutions and companies across Europe, Vietnam, and Nicaragua.
Participants had the opportunity to present their latest research and exchange experiences related to rootstocks and grafting in both European and tropical fruit tree crops, with a particular focus on coffee and cocoa, as well as other tropical species. They also visited Agromillora Iberia’s facilities to gain first-hand insight into current technologies used in European fruit crops.
The workshop concluded with a round table, leading to a productive discussion among experts in European and tropical fruit tree crops, focusing on opportunities to enhance adaptive strategies for these cultivars.

Big news sprouting at Agromillora—our newest batch of olive plants have just been potted, and they’re already looking like future grove superstars! 🫒This early stage is essential to ensuring strong, uniform development—and our team is committed to providing the optimal conditions for each plant to thrive and live a long life.
🌞 These olive plants love the sun as much as we love seeing them grow and once established, they’re surprisingly drought-tolerant—resilient little legends!
We’re giving them the perfect start so they can one day become the high-quality, high-performing trees growers depend on. For now? They’re just baby olive plants living their best nursery life. 😎✨

They’re thriving, growing strong and getting ready for their big adventure — soon heading out to growers who will plant them and nurture them to live their berry best lives! 🍇Grow big, little ones!
