Please also remember the Father's Day stall is open on QKR until the 27th August, and will be on site on Wednesday 2nd September for class visits! 🎉

Today we officially farewelled our very loved Mrs Broadbent 💖 she has been such a bright, guiding light in our community. The flickering lights in the prayer space represent each student and staff member at Immaculate Heart that she has positively impacted. We wish her the very best on her next exciting chapter as Principal at St. Brigid’s, Rosewood. We will miss you! ✨

The ladies from the Brisbane Lions AFLW team came out this week to show the year 4-6 students some AFL skills. They all had a ‘ball’ and even managed to get some autographs afterwards.

The Auskick program is starting soon after school. Please sign up using the QR codes. We can’t wait to see you there! 🏉

LIVE PERFORMANCES:
Auditions: Thursday 23 July
Prep, Year 1 and Year 2: in the hall at first break.
Years 3, 4, 5 and 6: in the hall upon return from the StoryArts Festival, around 2:00pm.
Costumes are optional for the performance and are not required for auditions. Please ensure any costumes are appropriate and clearly labelled.

VIDEO PERFORMANCES:
Video entries are due to classroom teachers by Thursday 23 July.
Recording details:
• The video must be no longer than 60 seconds.
• The video needs to be put on a USB that is clearly labelled with the child’s name and given to your child’s classroom teacher.
• Group submissions are welcome, but they need to be recorded at home.
• No recording will happen at school.
