🍊 Fresh Orange Juice Fun in Kindergarten! 🍊

Today in our Kindergarten room, the children created their very own orange juice stand using fresh oranges! First, they worked hard using hand juicers to squeeze all the juice from the oranges, developing their fine motor skills and strength along the way.

Once our delicious fresh juice was ready, the children took turns being customers and servers at the juice stand. They enjoyed serving one another, taking orders, and practising their communication and social skills through imaginative play.

There were lots of smiles, teamwork, and excitement as everyone enjoyed their freshly made orange juice.

What a fun and refreshing learning experience! 🍊🧡

Our Juniors have been busy taking care of their garden recently! 🌱

The children planted bean seeds and carrot seedlings, and they have loved watering and caring for them each day. Already, we are starting to see little sprouts popping through the soil, which has brought so much excitement and joy to the group.

Gardening provides such wonderful hands-on learning opportunities as the children develop patience, responsibility, and an understanding of how living things grow and thrive. We can’t wait to continue watching our garden flourish! 🥕🌿

Let me introduce myself — I am the Director here at Mayfield Brose Street. I am also a proud mum to 3 beautiful children aged 13, 8 and 4.

I have been in the childcare industry for over 20 years and truly would not change a thing. Over the past 5 years at Mayfield Brose Street, I started as an Assistant and have recently stepped into the role of Director.

I am passionate about building lasting relationships with our families and creating a safe, loving and welcoming environment for every child in our care.
