Today in our Our kindergarten room 💛

Today we welcomed Miss Vickie from Cool Kids First Aid Training to our centre. She spent some time with our Kinder children today learning about emergencies and basic first aid in a fun and engaging way.

The children learnt how to place someone who has fallen into the recovery position and discussed how to use a phone and dial 000 in an emergency. 📱🚨

We also had lots of hands-on fun practising how to use Band-Aids and bandages and talking about how we can care for and look after one another. 🩹💕
It was a wonderful learning experience, and our Kinder children did such a fantastic job! 🌟

🌻Today in our kindergarten room 🌻

To celebrate R U OK? Day, we participated in a fun and meaningful creative activity that focused on kindness, caring and connecting with others.

We painted bubble wrap using yellow paint and glue, creating a bright and colourful textured background. Once it was ready, we added different bee pictures and R U OK? photos to complete our artwork. 🐝💛

Through this activity, we talked about the importance of checking in with our friends, asking “Are you okay?” and letting others know that we care. It was a wonderful way to combine creativity with an important message about kindness, friendship and supporting one another.💛💛

Today, we celebrate our amazing educators here at Brose Street! 💕📚

A heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful families for taking the time to share your kind words and messages on our little Thank You Notes. Your thoughtful messages mean so much to our educators and are a beautiful reminder of the difference they make each and every day. 🥰

These special notes will be proudly displayed in our staff room and around the centre for everyone to read, enjoy and treasure — a wonderful collection of kindness, appreciation and thanks from our families to our incredible educators. 💐💛

📚✨ Sharing the Joy of Reading! ✨📚

Today, our little centre had the absolute delight of welcoming the wonderful Grade 5 students from White Rock State School for a special shared reading experience with our little friends. 💕📖

It was such a beautiful opportunity for the older students to read with, encourage and connect with our younger children.

The smiles, laughter and excitement were truly infectious, and all of the children had such a wonderful time together! 🥰

We are so grateful to the Grade 5 students and their teachers for visiting us and sharing their love of reading. What an amazing experience for everyone involved! 🌟

🍊 Fresh Orange Juice Fun in Kindergarten! 🍊

Today in our Kindergarten room, the children created their very own orange juice stand using fresh oranges! First, they worked hard using hand juicers to squeeze all the juice from the oranges, developing their fine motor skills and strength along the way.

Once our delicious fresh juice was ready, the children took turns being customers and servers at the juice stand. They enjoyed serving one another, taking orders, and practising their communication and social skills through imaginative play.

There were lots of smiles, teamwork, and excitement as everyone enjoyed their freshly made orange juice.

What a fun and refreshing learning experience! 🍊🧡

Our Juniors have been busy taking care of their garden recently! 🌱

The children planted bean seeds and carrot seedlings, and they have loved watering and caring for them each day. Already, we are starting to see little sprouts popping through the soil, which has brought so much excitement and joy to the group.

Gardening provides such wonderful hands-on learning opportunities as the children develop patience, responsibility, and an understanding of how living things grow and thrive. We can’t wait to continue watching our garden flourish! 🥕🌿

In our Juniors Room, the children’s interest lately has been around babies and learning how to care for them. It’s so beautiful to capture moments like these — little girls role-playing, nurturing, and lovingly looking after their babies. 💕

Through imaginative play, the children are developing empathy, communication, and caring relationships while exploring the world around them.
