🌟 CELEBRATING MISS SHEREE 🌟

Yesterday, Miss Natalie had the wonderful opportunity to attend a Centre Manager Meeting alongside Centre Managers from across our area. During the meeting, Area Manager Maddy took the time to recognise educators from across the area who she felt were doing an outstanding job — and we are so incredibly proud that our very own Miss Sheree was one of those recognised! 🥰👏

Miss Sheree was recognised as an Engagement Expert — and we couldn’t think of anyone more deserving! 💛

💛 ARE YOU OKAY? DAY 💛

Today we came together as a service to celebrate Are You Okay? Day, a beautiful reminder that asking the simple question, “Are you okay?” can make a world of difference. 💛

We invited our children and educators to wear yellow as a symbol of connection, kindness, support and starting important conversations.

We also had a very special sweet station for our families and educators, filled with lots of delicious treats! We had delicious cupcakes, brownies, doughnuts and a variety of delicious KitKats to enjoy.

A huge thank you and special shout-out to Sweet Life Cakes by Amber for the beautiful R U OK? cupcakes and Busy Bee Brownies! Your kindness helped make our day extra special.

One of the most meaningful parts of our day was creating a special jar for each educator. Every educator had the opportunity to write a heartfelt note about another educator, sharing something they appreciate, admire or love about that person.

On Thursday, each educator received their jar to take home and spend some quiet time reading through all the beautiful messages their colleagues had written about them. What a wonderful reminder that they are valued, appreciated and making a difference every single day.

Today was about more than wearing yellow or enjoying some sweet treats. It was about connection, kindness, appreciation and creating a safe space to ask the important question, “Are you okay?” 💛

Let’s keep the conversation going, not just today, but every day.

Because sometimes, one question, one conversation or one kind word can make all the difference. 💛

🌻Our 3 Year-Old Kindergarten Gardening Project🌻

Our 3-Year-Old Kindergarten children have been enjoying learning all about gardening and caring for our environment. As part of our project, our team reached out to our wonderful families to see if anyone had recyclable or reusable materials they could contribute to our gardening experiences.

We were so grateful when one of our families generously donated Bunnings pots, shovels, gardening gloves, gardening tools and watering cans for the children to use!

The children have been excited to get their hands dirty, explore the garden, dig, plant, water and care for our growing plants. These hands-on experiences provide wonderful opportunities for the children to develop their confidence, coordination and sense of responsibility while learning about nature and sustainability.

A huge thank you to our generous family for supporting our gardening project and helping us create meaningful learning experiences for our children. We truly appreciate your kindness and contribution to our kindergarten community!

🤍 G R A N D P A R E N T S • D A Y 🤍

Yesterday, we were so excited to welcome our wonderful grandparents into the centre for a very special Grandparents’ Day!

It was beautiful to see our grandparents spending precious time with their grandchildren and being part of their learning and experiences.

Our Seniors enjoyed getting their hands dirty as they planted their very own flowers! They decorated their pots using different textures, added soil, and then chose a flower to plant and take home.

Our Juniors created beautiful flower photo frames, which their grandparents could take home as a special keepsake.

And of course, no special celebration is complete without delicious food! We enjoyed a wonderful array of yummy treats.

A very big thank you to Miss Lisa and Miss Paige for making us the most delicious scones! They were absolutely enjoyed by everyone!

We would also like to say a huge thank you for all the wonderful feedback we received. We are so glad you were able to attend and share this special day with us. Your kind words mean so much to our team!

Thank you to all our beautiful grandparents for joining us and helping make the day so memorable. We loved creating these special memories together!

It’s that time of year again… 🏉💙❤️

If you’ve been part of our Facebook family for a while now, you already know the legendary State of Origin rivalry between Miss Sheree and Mr Burrows is less of a friendly debate and more of a full-season event 😂

This year was meant to be different. For the first time in years, Mr Burrows no longer had a child attending our service… but did that stop him from keeping the feud alive? Absolutely not.

In true Origin spirit, he still managed to surprise Miss Sheree with some of his classic Queensland vs New South Wales antics, proving that once you’re part of our centre family, you never really leave 💛

Moments like these remind us that what we build here goes far beyond care and education. The connections, laughter, traditions, and relationships we create with our families stay with us long after children move on from our service.

So while the rivalry may never end, neither does the love and community we share ❤️

Now… the only real question left is:
QLD or NSW? 👀

🚲 BRING YOUR BIKE DAY 🚲

This Thursday, we’re celebrating Road Safety with a fun Bring Your Bike Day! 🛴🚴‍♀️

Children are invited to bring along their bikes or scooters and join in on a day full of active fun while learning about important road safety skills.

Don’t forget:
🦺 Helmets are required
🚲 Please ensure bikes and scooters are clearly named

We can’t wait to see everyone riding safely and having fun!

🚦 National Road Safety Week 🚦

Next week we join communities across Australia in recognising National Road Safety Week — a time to reflect on the importance of keeping ourselves, our children, and everyone in our community safe on the roads.

National Road Safety Week encourages all road users to make safe choices every time we travel. Whether we are driving, walking, riding, scooting, or cycling, we all play a role in helping prevent accidents and keeping our families safe.

Throughout the week, we will be talking with the children about simple road safety practices such as:
🛑 Holding an adult’s hand near roads
🚸 Using crossings safely
🚗 Wearing seatbelts correctly
👀 Stopping, looking, listening, and thinking before crossing

Together, we can help create safer roads for everyone and teach our little learners lifelong safety habits. ❤️
