🏐 ANOTHER GRAND FINAL FOR OUR NETBALLERS 🦁🏐

Another outstanding performance from our Lioness Netballers, who have secured back-to-back grand final appearances across two of SEQ’s premier netball competitions!

Our Year 9 girls were dominant throughout the pool rounds before producing another impressive performance in the semi-final to book their place in the decider.

The grand final was an absolute thriller, with the girls going down by just one goal. πŸ’”

While the result wasn’t what we wanted, the performance was exceptional. Back-to-back grand finals is an incredible achievement! πŸ‘πŸ”₯

What a season so far from our Lionesses! πŸ¦πŸ’™πŸ’›

⚽ NOT SOMETHING YOU SEE EVERY DAY! ⚽

Three siblings. One football match. One very special family moment! πŸ’™πŸ’›

Bremer students Lilly, David and William have made a little bit of history, becoming what we believe to be the first-ever trio of siblings to officiate a football match together! πŸ‘

With the three siblings taking on officiating duties, it was certainly a unique sight on the pitch β€” and a fantastic example of the many ways our students can be involved in sport beyond simply playing the game and beyond their school life..

Congratulations Lilly, David and William! What an achievement! πŸ™Œβš½

🎢A NEW CHAPTER FOR OUR MUSIC PROGRAM!

We are thrilled to announce the formation of our brand-new Chamber Orchestra!

For the first time in our school’s history, we have an orchestra, bringing together talented instrumental students to create a truly exciting new ensemble.

Our musicians have been working hard to prepare, and we are incredibly proud of the commitment, enthusiasm and musical growth they have already demonstrated.

Our very first performance will be this Monday at our Book Week Parade!
We can’t wait for our new Chamber Orchestra to make its debut and share their music with our school community. This is an exciting milestone for our Instrumental Music Program, and we look forward to seeing where this new ensemble takes us!

Watch this space – our Chamber Orchestra has arrived!

On 12 August, three of our fantastic student leaders represented Bremer State High School at the Ipswich Youth Arvo.

The Ipswich Youth Arvo brings together young people aged 16–25 from across Ipswich, providing an opportunity to connect with community leaders and local decision-makers.

Through collaborative activities and meaningful discussions, participants explored the challenges and opportunities facing young people in our community. The event provided an important platform for the next generation to share their ideas, contribute to discussions and help shape the future of Ipswich.

We are incredibly proud of Lilly, Zach and Mason for representing Bremer so positively! πŸ’šπŸ’›
