"The year 3 and 4s loved giving Bob and Dob advice for our library Advice Tree! Such a fabulous activity that brought about excellent conversations about when it is appropriate to dob, when to try to deal with situations ourselves and lying. We looked at the illustrating style of Sean E. Avery and tried to recreate this for the bird templates. Another brilliant book by Sean E. Avery which has sparked interest in Frank’s Red Hat and Neville’s Great Escape!"

"I did this activity today with the year 1s and they loved it! Initially I was worried that the activity may be a little too tricky, but with the words above the picture, it made it much more manageable for everyone and every child had success! We are comparing text types and their features, so we looked at a non-fiction book on grandparents. My Nonno Loves was adored by all and made great conversations about the importance of grandparents and all the special things they bring to our lives."
