✨Single Prompt Drawings✨
Last week the Kindergarten and Pre-Kindy had some collaborative creative play outside. They were given some pencils and paper with eyes on it. This was to encourage their imaginations. Single Prompt drawing encourages children to develop pencil control, fine motor skills, and hand-eye coordination while following a simple drawing instruction. It also supports creativity, confidence and early pre-writing skills in a fun and engaging way.

Building Pencil control✨
The children were building their penmanship and fine motor skills by drawing around magnetic shapes. This fun activity encourages children to develop pencil grip, hand strength and control while tracing different shapes and patterns.

Coloured rice and loose parts fun. 🙌
The children enjoyed scooping, pouring, filling and exploring with the coloured rice, cups and cardboard tubes. They experimented with different ways to move and collect the rice, creating their own little patterns and discoveries along the way.
A simple sensory experience that encouraged creativity, fine motor skills and lots of hands on learning through play.

Have you heard about our Veggie Fun Program? Centres are entering the 7th month of our Veggie Fun Program for 2026. Throughout the month, our Kindy children will discover how sprouts grow from tiny seeds, learn about the different varieties and enjoy hands-on experiences of sprouting their very own Rye seeds! Packed with nutrients and full of flavour, sprouts are a wonderful way to introduce children to growing and exploring fresh foods. By learning, growing and cooking together, children develop a greater connection to ingredients and a wider appreciation for seasonal produce.
