The PopUp Museum Project mini exhibition is still on at the Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology. Some private collection artefacts unlikely to be seen in public unless you can get to displays from the Project!

The last (I think?) post Abbey Medieval Festival repair is complete. We're ready for our next event. History Alive: A Journey Through Time. Tickets are on sale now!
If you missed the Abbey, come to the multi time period event invented by the Queensland Living History Federation. For more than 20yrs they've been bringing 2000 years of history alive, and together in one place.
We'll have our Armoury tent with our arms, armour, artillery, and cavalry static displays ready for you to see what 17th century Polish and Hungarian Hussars used in battle.

Another repair done. The chair back of my Savaranola chair has been fixed. We're looking good to get back to the end of year events!

The PopUp Museum Project currently has a small exhibition at the Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology. Original Nuremberg harness with Wheel Lock pistol and Zweihänder. Small, Medium, and Large display of Indo-Persian weapons, and pre Medieval jewellery. Got nothing to do for the Ekka holiday, go check out the museum!

First new replacement strap is on our Hungarian shield. If you're curious about which one we're fixing, it's the one we copied from the MET in New York.
