Ipswich Special School Thrift Shop
Wednesday mornings 9:30-10:30am senior students will be running our school's thrift shop (not open if it’s raining) - Everything is only $1!
We are seeking donations of toys in good condition.
We are located outside the main school fence, within the middle car park, behind the flexi school.
We have a wide range of adults and children's clothing, shoes, winter beanies and scarves, jewellery, toys, homewares, dress ups, books, DVDs, the list goes on.
We have an eftpos machine available and are happy to take cash.
So, if you're looking for a bargain, or just need some Wednesday morning retail therapy, the senior students and staff would love to see you at the Ipswich Special School Thrift Shop.

As part of our investigations into Post School options, our year 12 students attended Adaptable Support Services and participate in a session held by Boccia Australia. Boccia is an inclusive sport that features in the Paralympics. Our students enjoyed learning the rules and playing Boccia. They also enjoyed exploring other game options that the Adaptable staff provided like shooting hoops, playing chess, experimenting with the pool table and even some electronic gaming. The students liked making new friends and reconnecting with past students.
Recently some of our students posed questions for our Commonwealth Games Judo Team. Here is the great video
Our next P&C meeting is tomorrow (Friday) at 9:15. All welcome!
