Kindness Bear🔅
Meet our Kindness Bear, “Rainbow & Rainy”. Where kindness comes from within our hearts, not from our looks. Every act of kindness, big or small, makes the world a brighter place. Be kind, be caring, and let your heart shine.

As part of their current learning focus on Kindness, Pre-Kindy are excited to introduce our Kindness Bear! Each week, one child will have the opportunity to take the Kindness Bear home. Inside the bear's bag, you will find a story, some questions, and a few simple activity ideas to enjoy together as a family.

NAIDOC Week 2026

At our centre, we believe that learning about and valuing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and perspectives is not something we do for just one week—it is something we are committed to throughout the year.

NAIDOC Week provides an opportunity to pause, reflect and celebrate the strength, resilience, achievements and continuing cultures of the world's oldest living cultures. It also reminds us of the importance of listening, learning and building genuine respect together.

Throughout the week, our children will engage in meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, connection and appreciation, while recognising that these conversations and learning opportunities are woven into our everyday program.

We are grateful for the opportunity to learn alongside our children and families as we continue to foster a community built on Respect, Peacefulness, Curiosity, Empowerment, Reliability and Service.

Happy NAIDOC Week to all our families and community. ❤️🖤💛

As part of our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, we are currently reviewing Quality Area 5 – Relationships with Children.

Your thoughts and experiences are incredibly important to us, and we've created a simple reflective question area at the entrance to gather your valuable insights about the relationships your child has with our educators.

You can:
*Complete the reflection while you're at the centre, or
* Take it home if you're short on time and return it the next day.

Your feedback helps us celebrate what we're doing well and identify opportunities to continue providing the very best care and education for every child.

Thank you for partnering with us and for taking the time to share your thoughts. Together, we can continue to create a warm, respectful and nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued and like they belong.

We're excited to share that we've added the "My Brain Books" series by Orlanda Bettison to our collection!

These beautiful books help children explore and understand their brains, emotions, feelings, and behaviours in a way that is simple, engaging and empowering. Through relatable stories and child-friendly language, children learn that all feelings are okay and discover strategies to help them regulate emotions, build resilience and develop a positive sense of self.

At our Centre, we are committed about supporting children's social and emotional wellbeing. This wonderful series complements our commitment to creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels respected, valued and supported to understand themselves and others.

We look forward to sharing these stories with the children and encouraging meaningful conversations about emotions, kindness, confidence and the amazing things our brains can do.

Have you read any of the My Brain Books at home? We'd love to hear which one is your family's favourite!

🔥Keeping Our Children Safe

Our educators recently participated in fire safety training to strengthen their knowledge and preparedness in the event of an emergency. This valuable training provided practical skills, reinforced emergency procedures, and increased confidence in responding quickly and effectively to keep children safe.

The safety and wellbeing of every child in our care is always our highest priority. We are proud of our team's commitment to ongoing professional development and creating a safe, secure learning environment for all.

A big thank you to the trainers for sharing their expertise and helping our educators stay prepared. 🚒❤️
