This year, Building Futures Montessori Forest Lake turns 20, and we’d love to celebrate with the people who have been part of our journey along the way.

We’re inviting past and present families, children, former educators, and our wider community to join us for a celebration filled with connection, memories and the fun of Building Futures Montessori - Forest Lake.

Over the years, so many children have grown, learned and flourished within our service, guided by our wonderful educators. This celebration is a chance to pop in, catch up with old friends, reconnect with past educators and meet new faces too.

Apprentice and Diploma Qualified Educator Opportunities now available!

Apprentices - advance your early childhood education career by studying Diploma level qualifications in ECEC and Montessori Early Childhood Education.

Diploma Qualified Educators - gain Montessori qualifications with opportunity of advancement into senior roles.
Full Time - 38 hours per week, shifts rostered between 6:15am and 5:30pm.

No Montessori experience is required, however upon appointment ALL Educators will be supported to complete Montessori qualifications.

Selection Criteria:

⭐Willingness to enrol in and complete Diploma ECEC if not already held (Prerequisite enrolment requirement: Cert III ECEC - CHC30121 or CHC30113. RPL may be available for those holding older Cert III level qualifications).

⭐Willingness to enrol in and complete Diploma Montessori Early Childhood Education (if not already held).

⭐Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning.

⭐ Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
Hold or be eligible to apply for a valid paid Blue Card (WWC). Restricted persons need not apply.

⭐ Successful candidates must have completed at least a Cert III level ECEC qualification (see https://www.acecqa.gov.au/qualifications/nqf-approved).

This morning Georgie, Susie, Anthony & Lizzie attended the Child Friendly Excellence Awards in Ipswich, hosted by Mission Australia to recognise and celebrate outstanding service to children and families in the Ipswich region.

Building Futures Montessori – Blackstone was nominated for a Service Award and both Lizzie & Anthony were nominated as Educators.

There were 5 categories with over 70 nominations, and our very own Lizzie & Anthony both received a very well deserved, Highly Commended Award for going above and beyond in their roles as Educators in the Early Years 0-5 years category. We were also super chuffed to receive a Highly Commended Award for Building Futures Montessori – Blackstone, in recognition of valuable contribution to families and children in the Ipswich region. Without the dedication, passion and the joy that all of our Educators bring to the Centre each day, this wouldn’t have been possible. What a great Team!

It was such an honour and privilege to be recognised by our wonderful families for the work we love and do, with the children in our BFM family. We are so proud and would like to thank all our families who placed a nomination.
