Smelly Science with Urban Utilities
This week, our school was thrilled to host the Smelly Science Show for our Year 5 students- an action-packed educational experience delivered by Urban Utilities' expert educators.
Through the dynamic experiments, students explored the wonders of water - from it's journey through the natural environment to the urban water cycle. They discovered how water travels to your tap, and what happens after it's flushed or goes down the drain!
The Year 5 students all would have come home with their own 'Big Splash' magazine to continue the learning and fun after the show.

Today we held our annual Science & Technologies Expo as part of our STEAM Week.
All classes visited the Expo throughout the day to check out the fabulous projects that were presented. We even had some VIP guests that came down to have a look, including Mr Paul-Brent from Bremer State High School.
Our students voted for their favourite project for People's Choice awards and the VIPs voted for their favourites as well. The winners of these awards will be announced later this week.
Great work to all the students involved and the people at home who supported them!
