Not crying. Not coughing. Silent.

Her toddler had grabbed a grape off her plate. She knew that silence was the danger sign. Five back blows. On the third, it dislodged.

Forty seconds. It felt like an hour.

She came to our next public course because she never wanted to rely on memory again. Knowing the theory is not the same as having the muscle memory. That comes from practice, with a trainer next to you, in a room where it is safe to get it wrong.

After our Junior Street Smart Safety workshop at a OSHC this week, one very confident young student pulled their educator aside with some very important news.

"If you get bitten by a snake, I will save you Miss Chloe."

And honestly? We believe them.

This is exactly why we do what we do. Kids who walk away from our Junior Street Smart Safety workshops are not just engaged during the session. They are retaining the skills, talking about them for days, and genuinely ready to use them.

Snake bite bandaging, staying safe in an emergency, knowing what to do when something goes wrong. Real skills taught in a way that actually lands.
The room was full of energy, full of questions, and full of children who clearly had no interest in sitting still, which is exactly how it should be.
