🚨 THIS ONE SEEMS TO BE YOUR FAVOURITE! 🚨

This is currently one of the most-liked posts on Gregg’s Co-Pilot Corner — and I can see why! 💰

A simple 30-second AI check before buying something in-store could potentially save you hundreds.

And here’s the best part…

🤖 YOU DON’T EVEN NEED A PAID AI SUBSCRIPTION TO DO IT!

The free versions of ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and other AI tools can do this too. 🙌

📱 Here’s the simple hack:

1️⃣ Find the item you want in-store
2️⃣ Take a photo of the product and price
3️⃣ Ask your AI:
“Where can I buy this online in Australia for the cheapest price right now?”
4️⃣ Show the result to the retailer and ask if they’ll price match or beat the price

💰 30 seconds of checking could save you serious money.

I’m sharing simple, practical AI tips, money-saving hacks and everyday tech tricks that anyone can use — without needing to be an AI expert.

Don’t keep the good hacks to yourself! 😂

👇 What should I test next — groceries, electronics, travel, fuel or something else?

💰 This simple AI trick has saved us around $500!

Here’s a little AI hack you can use the next time you’re shopping.

You’re in a store.

You find something you want.

📸 Take a photo of the product AND the price.

Then upload the photo to ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini and ask:

“Where can I buy this online in Australia for the cheapest price right now?”

AI can search the current market and give you prices to compare.

Now here’s where it gets interesting…

If the store offers a price match — or says they’ll beat a competitor’s price by 10% — you’ve potentially got some negotiating power.

🔥 My partner and I have saved around $500 over the last 3 months using this simple trick.

And it takes about 30 seconds.

Just remember to check the store’s price-match rules. They may have conditions around identical products, Australian retailers, stock, delivery costs etc.

Try this next time you’re shopping.

💰 Check the price
🏷️ Ask for the price match

Copilot is becoming a lot more than a chatbot. 🤖

Microsoft has announced new Copilot capabilities that could help people:

🏠 Pick up work in one place
🛠️ Build simple apps and workflows by describing what they need
🔁 Set AI agents to keep working on recurring tasks

So instead of asking AI one small question at a time, you could give it a bigger job:

“Review these files, create a tracker and prepare the follow-up.”

That’s where AI becomes genuinely useful in everyday work — helping with the steps, not just the answers.

What’s one repetitive job you’d love to hand over to an AI co-worker?

This is a really practical Copilot update for anyone stuck taking meeting notes. 👇

Microsoft Teams is rolling out AI meeting recaps that can work without saving a transcript or recording.

So you can still capture the key points, decisions and actions — while having more control over sensitive conversations.

Less note-taking. More focus. More follow-through. 🙌

Would this be useful in your workplace?

I promised a few posts a week for Gregg’s Co-pilot Corner!!
Unfortunately I’ve injured my hand and will require 6 weeks of no use and estimates 3 months until I have full use again, so I’ll be at little quite on the updates. I’ll start sharing again once I’m aloud to use my hand with light duties. Until then feel free to share your your own learning and use cases!!!

I’ll be back with heaps of cool ideas as soon as I can!!

☕️ Saturday morning coffee + a quick question to AI…

📸 I snapped a photo of something I needed and asked:

“Where can I buy this cheapest in Australia?”

About 2 minutes later I’d found the better deal, bought 4 and saved almost $50! 💰🙌

That’s the kind of AI I love — simple, practical and actually saving me money.

What would you ask AI to price-check for you? 👇

Copilot is changing. And this is where it gets really interesting… 🤖

Microsoft is now rolling out OpenAI’s GPT-6 Astra in Copilot Cowork and Copilot Studio.

But the exciting part isn’t just having a newer AI model.

It’s the idea that instead of telling AI exactly what to do step-by-step, you can increasingly give it the outcome you want and let it work through the task.

Imagine saying:

“Take these documents, research the issue, analyse the information, create a report and give me the key recommendations.”

…and Copilot does much more of the work between your request and the finished result.

That’s a big change.

We’re moving from:

🧑‍💻 “AI, help me do this.”

to

🤖 “AI, take care of this and I’ll review the result.”

Microsoft is calling this a shift towards more agentic work — and I think it could fundamentally change how many of us work.

The big question:

What task at work would you happily hand over to your own AI coworker?

💪 AI Fitness Coach? Absolutely.

I’ve lost 34kg!!!! And transported myself back to my youth!!!!

One of my favourite ways to use AI outside of work is for health and fitness.

Need help:

🏃 Training for a marathon?

🏋️ Building muscle?

⚖️ Losing weight?

🥗 Planning healthier meals?

📅 Creating a workout schedule around a busy life?

AI can help with all of it.

The best part is that it can tailor recommendations to:

✅ Your goals

✅ Your available equipment

✅ Your fitness level

✅ Your schedule

✅ Your dietary preferences

✅ Your progress over time

I've been amazed at how useful it can be when you provide enough detail and context.

You don't need a different app for everything anymore.

Sometimes one good AI conversation can replace several different tools and subscriptions.

What's your biggest fitness goal at the moment?

🚀 I asked AI a simple question:

"Who are my stakeholders, what do they help with, and who do I escalate to when things go wrong?"

In the comments I’ll give you the prompt for this one!!

The answer wasn't in a spreadsheet.

It was scattered across:

Emails
Teams chats
Meeting invites
Meeting notes
Shared documents
People profiles
Information I already had access to.

The challenge wasn't finding it.

The challenge was connecting it.

So I used Microsoft 365 Copilot to analyse my work context and create a searchable HTML stakeholder directory and escalation map.

The result was a living reference that helps me quickly understand:

✅ Who my key stakeholders are

✅ What they can help with

✅ Previous areas they've supported

✅ Escalation pathways

✅ Important contacts across teams, vendors and leadership groups

✅ Where I need to verify information instead of guessing

What I found most interesting wasn't the directory itself.

It was how little prompting was required.

Instead of manually documenting hundreds of interactions across multiple systems, AI could surface patterns already present in my Microsoft 365 environment and present them in a format that was easy to navigate and understand.

The same approach could be used for:

🔹 Stakeholder Maps

🔹 Customer Contact Directories

🔹 Project Knowledge Hubs

🔹 Business Relationship Maps

🔹 Team Capability Catalogues

🔹 Escalation Frameworks

The lesson?

AI doesn't just create content. It helps uncover organisational knowledge hiding in plain sight.
