The guide is packed with simple, play-based activities that support your child's learning and development at home. Best of all, it's written in your child's voice, with ideas tailored to their age and developmental stage.

From singing songs with babies and playing peek-a-boo, to "I Spy" games, storytelling and treasure hunts with older children, the activities are designed to fit naturally into everyday moments you already share together.

When we read with a child, we’re doing far more than sharing a story. We’re building the foundations for language, confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.

Hearing rich varied language in books exposes children to far more words than everyday conversation alone. This growing vocabulary helps them understand, communicate and make sense of the world.

Where Miss Tanya, Miss Jay, Miss Noralyn and Miss Shakirra have created some amazing learning opportunities

Our Kindergarten children are engaged in a variety of exciting learning experiences that encourage curiosity, exploration, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
Through investigating bugs and insects, children learn about living things, their environments, and the important roles they play in nature. Exploring magnets introduces early scientific concepts as children discover how objects move, attract, and repel.

Children also develop their early mathematical skills through counting and sorting a range of natural materials, helping them make connections between numbers and real-world objects. Technology experiences, including exploring computers, keyboards, and telephones, support children's understanding of the tools we use in everyday life while encouraging problem-solving, creativity, and digital awareness.

These learning opportunities provide valuable experiences for children to practise sharing, taking turns, and working collaboratively with their peers. Through group discussions, investigations, and play-based learning, children strengthen their communication and language skills while learning to express their thoughts, ideas, and feelings confidently.

As children navigate social situations, they continue to develop strategies for regulating their emotions, building resilience, and forming positive relationships. Our environment proudly displays children's own writing, drawings, and creations, giving them a strong sense of belonging, ownership, and achievement. Seeing their work valued within the room helps build confidence and encourages a lifelong love of learning.

Miss Brooke, Miss Tammie, and Miss Sam have been working hard to create some magical areas that inspire learning, creativity, and development. Through thoughtfully designed spaces and engaging experiences, the children are encouraged to explore, discover, and grow each day.

Our Kindergarten 1 children have been engaged in a variety of exciting learning experiences designed to support their growth and development across all learning areas.

The children have been exploring dinosaurs, farm animals, emotions, and hands-on science experiments such as sink and float investigations. Through these engaging experiences, children are encouraged to ask questions, make predictions, explore new concepts, and develop their understanding of the world around them.

As they participate in group discussions, dramatic play, experiments, and collaborative activities, children are strengthening their communication and language skills, building friendships, and learning important social skills such as sharing, cooperation, and teamwork. These experiences also help to develop their confidence, emotional awareness, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of the world around them.

We love watching the children learn through play, curiosity, and discovery as they continue to grow into capable, confident, and active learners.
