A great opening night of Beauty and the Beast last night with the Ipswich Orpheus Chorale. All reports indicate that the audience loved this amazing production. Each performance is practically sold out. I am so proud of the cast, orchestra, technical crew and backstage crew for the huge effort that has been put into this show.
Had a great Sitzprobe today for Beauty and the Beast with the Ipswich Orpheus Chorale. Show opens on October 13 at the Ipswich Civic Centre.

This morning I had the absolute honour to play The Last Post and Reveille at the Cityhope Church ANZAC Service. A great morning remembering and honouring those that have sacrificed so much for their country.

It has been a busy couple of weeks for Greg. He conducted the debut performance of the Ipswich Orpheus Orchestra last Sunday (2nd April), to which the orchestra recieved standing ovations from the large crowd. Then this weekend just gone he participated in the 24hr Musical Project of "Kiss Me Kate". A very intense 24hr rehearsal period prior to the one performance. Now to look forward to next weekend where he will be playing with the Brisbane City Temple Band of The Salvation Army in their Easter Weekend with special guest from the USA, William Himes. A weekend not to be missed.
I am looking for some strings and percussion players for an orchestra gig in Ipswich on Sunday April 2nd. Anybody interested? Required for 2 rehearsals prior.
There will be an exciting announcement made in the coming days. Stay tuned!
Get on down to Robelle Domain on New Years Eve. A great line up of local artists performing original songs and covers of some of the great party and celebration songs. This is a free community event. See you there!
