FLASHBACK FRIDAY! WHO remembers the 80’s show FAME!! How many of us danced because we dreamed of going to a school like this! The MDC Musical Theatre class are going to be performing their take on this iconic theme song at the end of year concert, Road Trip USA, on the 21st Saturday November at the Boonah Cultural Centre and would love your support, so please save the date!!!

MDC is continuing the proud tradition of supporting the “Strive to be Kind Day” tomorrow. Allison’s youngest daughter danced at SMBC for many years. Students can wear yellow to class ALL WEEK for a gold coin donation. Yellow ribbons are available for everyone at $2 each. All funds donated to the Allison Baden-Clay Foundation!

Miss McCormick would like to wish all MDC dancers participating in the ADA exams & Awards the best of luck in Exams tomorrow and Awards over the weekend. Also wishing our sister school, BeauDance, all the best in their Exams as well!!

Flashback Friday! Christmas memories in July! Who remembers performing in the Major’s Christmas Carols over the years?

WHO remembers Australia, The Young Dancers Company? It is now officially know as JUBAL Creative and Performing Arts Inc!! The not-for-profit association is undergoing redirection and transformation to include not only song and dance, but all creative arts.

Many thanks to the former Young Dancers Company executives, President Shayne White, Secretary Sandy Driessens-Rockett (Ret.) and Treasurer Rob Walters, for their tireless work and commitment to dance and the arts in Ipswich.
