Today, our Year 6 students had an exciting half-day transition experience to high school! They participated in engaging activities at Inverell and Macintyre High, giving them a fantastic opportunity to explore their new school environment and become familiar with daily routines. It was a wonderful way for our students to build confidence and prepare for the next chapter in their lives.

There’s plenty of excitement building at Ross Hill as our students and staff get ready to welcome Australian author Zanni Louise this coming Monday, 7th September!πŸ’™πŸ’›
Making the day even more special, Zanni is a former Ross Hill student and school captain, so we can’t wait to welcome her back to where part of her own story began. πŸ₯°
We’re looking forward to a wonderful day filled with stories, creativity, inspiration and lots of bookish fun! πŸ“–βœ¨

Have you granted permission and paid for the Life Education Van?
Classes started attending lessons today and will continue into next week. Healthy Harold is here to share great information with our primary classes (Years 3 to 6) in the way that only he can.

Some classes have already attended today, however. This information is for those who are still to attend.

Payments have officially closed; however, parents can contact the school office for assistance.

Year 6 to 7 Half-Day Transition TOMORROW:

Please be reminded of the half-day transition tomorrow morning. Students should make their own way to the respective high school (either Inverell High or Macintyre High) by 9:00am, where they will be met by Year 6 staff. Mrs Bird and Ms Murray will be at IHS, whilst Ms Beveridge will be at MHS.

Students attending Inverell High will walk back to school with teachers, whilst students attending MHS will travel back on the MHS bus.

This is a wonderful opportunity for all students to start their journey to high school in 2027.

The weather was absolutely perfect β˜€οΈ, making it such a wonderful morning for everyone to get out there, have fun and enjoy some cricket!

A huge thank you to Paddy Miller and his incredible team for organising this very special event through the Rotary Club of Australia. πŸ™ŒπŸ‘ Your dedication and support helped make the morning such a memorable experience for our students.

Thank you to Holy Trinity Catholic School for hosting us this year and making us feel so welcome. πŸ«πŸ’š

A special thank you to Renee Stewart, Inclusion and Support Teacher, for her support and assistance and for organising the morning. πŸ’šπŸ‘ Your efforts were greatly appreciated and helped make the day such a success.

Thank you again to Brighter Access, who sponsored the event again this year. πŸ™πŸ’š Each of our students received a Dream Cricket medal πŸ₯‡πŸ, and the smiles on their faces said it all! 😊πŸ₯°

Thank you to the Ross Hill team for all their support throughout the morning. πŸ’šπŸ‘

A huge thank you also to the Holy Trinity and Imbrol High School students who supported our students at each of the skill rotations. πŸπŸ™Œ Your encouragement, patience and enthusiasm helped make the morning so special.

We finished the morning with a game of cricket 🏏, bringing together all the fun, skills and teamwork from the morning.

It was wonderful to see so many smiles, plenty of enthusiasm and everyone enjoying the spirit of Dream Cricket! πŸ’šπŸ˜Š

Thank you to everyone who helped make this such a fantastic and memorable morning! πŸŒŸπŸπŸ’š
