A quick example of some of the material we sing in The Acapella Fellas, the male choir I run here in Inverell at Abbey Street Music. I record individual parts for each song that follow a score, though if you don't read music you can just listen to the audio and pick it up by ear. Lately we've also been trying to learn parts and improvising harmonies by ear, it's good fun! We sing songs by artists as diverse as the Beatles, Bee Gees and Beach Boys to Fleet Foxes and the Flying Pickets. Abbey Street Music have a number of lesson spots becoming available Monday-Thursday at 3pm in Term 3. If you're an adult who's been thinking about learning music, this might be your opportunity! Having been asked repeatedly about these items over the last year I thought it might be time to stock a few!
