Meet your Meet & Greet for the Innisfail Area - Ourania Conomos from Tropic Training Solutions
Tropic Training Solutions offers basic computer and business skills training to individuals or groups. One on one training is offered and is tailored to suit the needs of the client. Training is offered to those who don’t know anything about the computer, to those who wish to build on skills they already have. Our main focus is to improve the skills, knowledge and confidence of participants. Main courses offered range from Basic Computing, Internet & Email, Microsoft Word and Excel, MYOB Basics including BAS and Bookkeeping Principles. Learn new skills, gain more confidence or get job ready skills. Make a start today!
What do you love most about your job?
Being a part of assisting someone to learn something new from knowledge you have is a very rewarding and positive experience for both teacher and learner. Teaching people new skills and the reward of seeing them improve their knowledge and confidence is what makes this job very rewarding. Tropic Training Solutions has had many success stories over time!
Tell me something about yourself outside of work?
Outside of my passion for teaching, I have a passion for cooking. Cooking and sharing food with others is part of my Greek heritage. When I am able, I attend markets with my Greek Bite Delights. My main offerings are Greek Shortbread, Honey Walnut biscuits and of course Baklava! My next markets will be at Mirriwinni State School on Saturday 29th July. Yassou!
Why did you join the network?
I joined the network as I saw it as an opportunity to be able to promote my business. It also provides me with the opportunity to gain valuable information from guest speakers and also network with other business woman.
What is your top tip for success?
Be confident and passionate about what you do and do it to the best of your ability.
