This is a self funded restoration of a pearling lugger I have never asked the Government for any money or put my hand out to the public for money this is one of only 16 luggers left and less then half are still in the water and only some of them are seaworthy. The Songton is slowly being rebuilt as it costs a lot of money and takes a lot time and u

sually I have one or the other as most people would understand . I will add more information and photos of the boat to this page when I can and as I find out more information. I am putting together a lot of information on the Songton and her three sisters Triton, Briton and Winston and hope one day maybe write a book on these wonderful vessels.
