Yuluma Primary School P&C

The P & C has a busy and fun year planned for everyone.
We plan to continue with canteen Fridays after has been a huge success so far in term one. We plan to host some fun events to engage the school community and have some yummy food fundraisers to come, as well as the usual favourites such as the Easter Raffle, Mother’s Day and Fathers day stalls

We wanted to let you know our focus for 2023 and where your funds will be spent when you support us:
1 - we hope to maintain the $2500 swimming bus subsidy for 2024 to keep the price down for families.
2 - we would like to purchase new early readers for year 1-2 (in-line with those purchased for pre-primary this year) to match the early education teachers training course they completed last year and have all of the early education section of the school on the same reading program.
And 3 - we would love to buy more laptops for 2024 in the hope to complete a set of 32.

We look forward to seeing you all soon and your support in 2023.

On Thursday, students are invited to colour their hair for a gold coin donation to the Leukaemia Foundation or to have their hair in a silly hair style.

Another great day in the Yumbox, thanks to Didier and Lyn for baking up a storm!!
Lyn baked some gluten free muffins and banana bread now available to order for recess.

Almost back to school time!
If you are needing to grab some uniforms before school returns, the uniform shop will be open Monday 30 Jan and Tuesday 31 Jan from 8am-9am.

We also have second hand uniforms available. Sizes and quality vary so come down and have a look.

(If you have any old uniforms you would like to donate, please bring them down too).

Don't forget to purchase your raffle tickets from 5pm! Cash or EFT available.

You all definitely helped to clear out the freezer!!! It was all hands on deck this morning.
Our biggest day in the Yumbox so far:
- 100 hashbrowns
- 35 mini pizzas
- 30 chicken tender wraps and more…

Thanks to all our volunteers over the last 3 terms, we couldn’t have done it without you. Please let us know if you would like to help Term 1, we are open Week 2-8 😆😆

Yuluma Yumbox is now stocking Frozen yoghurts. These are low sugar and delicious and only $2. We also stock calippo’s and Quelch sticks if you want a dairy free icy treat this Friday. 🍦
