𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗜𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🧡

Throughout this term, our Year 6 Student Leadership Team has been raising awareness for LifeLink. Each week our student leaders have organised activities to help students learn about the many ways LifeLink agencies provide support and care within our community. 🫶

This week, students focused on supporting the Emmaus Community. During a special beading and mindfulness lunch break, students came together to reflect, connect and learn about the importance of kindness, compassion and supporting others. A beautiful way of building meaningful connections across our school while supporting a worthy cause. 📿

This Friday morning, students will host a produce stall in the courtyard before school. Fresh produce from our school garden will be available for a gold coin donation, with all proceeds going directly to LifeLink. We encourage our school community to come along, support the initiative and help make a difference.
Thank you to our Year 6 leaders for their enthusiasm and commitment to serving others and promoting social justice within our school community. 💛🌱

What a fantastic effort from our students at the interschool cross country competition yesterday! From start to finish, they showed determination, resilience, teamwork and incredible school spirit. 🙌

We are so proud to share that our school was awarded the 𝙈𝙤𝙨𝙩 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙 shield — a wonderful achievement that reflects the hard work, perseverance and encouragement shown by all students involved. 💪

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗢𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁, 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🧡

Last Friday, students in Pre-Primary explored the special connection between St Dominic and the orange tree tradition, which represents hospitality, faith, growth, and the idea of "bearing fruit" through kindness and service to others. They harvested the oranges and took turns in juicing the fruit into fresh orange juice. 🍊

In Dominican tradition, Saint Dominic is believed to have planted an orange tree at Santa Sabina in the 1200s. Since then, the orange tree has become a symbol of faith, growth, hospitality, and community within Dominican schools around the world. ✨
