Inglewood Native Plants

Inglewood Native Plants We’re a wholesale Australian native plant nursery, with over 300 species in production. Inglewood Wildflowers is an Indigenous andAustralian Flower Farm.

Find us at local markets each week, and join us for our monthly open days at the nursery. We will grow a variety of quality Australian natives suited to the climate using biodynamic principles. We will use green manure through sheet composting, minimal cultivation and biodynamic preparations to increase the hummus and soil biology. This will allow us to grow flowers that we will sell at numerous

local markets and also wholesale to local retailers. At the moment the farm is being set up/built but updates will be posted on this page.

We are often asked how we select producers for our VFMA Accredited market - and we think that this is a great question! Here's a few things to know:

🥦 It's important to us that our market be producer driven, prioritising seasonal, direct, Victorian-based farmers who grow what they sell themselves.

🪴 Our speciality artisan producers are carefully chosen to prioritise local, seasonal ingredients (even better if they grow it themselves) that offers something different to mass-produced goods.

🍎 We do have a limited number of ready-to-eat producers (because everyone gets hungry at a market). These are carefully curated as they must offer something unique, and complement the farmer-led core, enhancing, not overwhelming the market experience. Heck, even the coffee served at our market is roasted locally!

Shopping at our market guarantees that you’re supporting local farmers and small producers, reducing transport distance, and keeping regional traditions and knowledge alive.
