Yesterday, our Year 4 students joined the 5/6 students for an exciting engineer-themed morning as they began their transition into Year 5/6. Together, students built bridges using pre-used materials before designing and racing paper planes!
The activities connected to our current Science unit on forces, while building teamwork, creativity and problem-solving skills. A fantastic morning of learning and fun!

🌟 Our first SMG Student for a Day was a huge success!

Future 2027 Prep students enjoyed a taste of life at ‘big school’, while our current SMG students had the opportunity to visit their next classroom and experience new routines and expectations.

These transition experiences are invaluable in building confidence, fostering connections, and setting every student up for success.

We loved welcoming our guests today and can't wait to see them again soon!

🎶 Well done to our instrumental music students who participated in today's music workshop alongside students from Millmerran State P-10 School and Inglewood State School.

More than 50 students from the three schools spent the morning learning a range of songs before treating us to a fantastic performance this afternoon.

We are incredibly proud of your dedication and musical talents, and we know you have inspired other students to discover the joy of music. 🎵👏

A huge thank you to all our wonderful dads, mums and special guests who joined us for our Father’s Day event today.

A special shout-out to all the parents who took to the field for our touch footy game and provided plenty of entertainment! While the adults were full of confidence, the kids were happy to let their actions do the talking and came away with the win. Last try takes all is always a killer 🏈😆
