Year 2 have recently enjoyed an exciting excursion to Symbio Zoo! Students had the opportunity to explore the zoo, learn about a variety of amazing animals, and discover how we can help protect wildlife. A highlight of the day was getting up close to some of the animals and participating in engaging educational sessions. Throughout the excursion, our students demonstrated excellent listening skills, curiosity, and respectful behaviour, making us very proud. It was a wonderful day of learning, fun, and creating lasting memories together! 🦘🐨🦎🐒

The excitement is building as our students put the finishing touches on their cheer practice ahead of tomorrow's Athletics Carnival! 📣🏃♀️🏃♂️
We can't wait to see our athletes give their best effort, demonstrate perseverance, and show outstanding sportsmanship throughout the day. Whether competing on the track, in the field, or cheering from the sidelines, we know our students will make us proud.
A reminder for tomorrow: Students should wear their sports uniform and house-coloured t-shirt, bring plenty of food and water for the day, and remember a hat and sunscreen to stay sun safe. ☀️💧
Good luck to all our competitors—we're looking forward to a fantastic day of participation, encouragement, and school spirit! 🌟💙💛💚❤️

Our Year 1 students had a brilliant time on Friday, May 1st, exploring the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan!
The children became "plant detectives" for the day—going on a treasure hunt through the gardens to discover different leaves and seeds, and even making their own seed balls to bring home.
We also spent a special part of our day hearing stories about the Dharawal land we were on and discovering how native plants can be used for everything from snacks to medicine. It was a wonderful way to connect with nature and our local history!

Last weekend, Mrs Smith, Fr Henry and our School Captains had the honour of attending the Dawn Service in Ingleburn for ANZAC Day. What a powerful and reflective time it was, representing Holy Family at such meaningful occasion. As the sun rose, the courage, sacrifice and service of those who have served our country was remembered. We are incredibly proud of our students for the respect and reverence they showed throughout this special event.
