Year 10 Olive Picking 🇮🇹 🫒
Our Year 10 Italian students – alongside our international students – recently enjoyed an unforgettable immersion into Italian culture, connecting with the local community and learning first-hand about olive cultivation and production.
From hand-picking olives in a traditional field, discovering the art of olive oil making, to sharing delicious homemade pizza by a bonfire overlooking the Adelaide Hills—students created lasting memories, friendships, and a deeper appreciation for the warmth and generosity at the heart of Italian culture.
A heartfelt thank you to Sebastian Galipo for welcoming us so warmly and offering such a rich, authentic experience. Opportunities like these help our students live the language, embrace new traditions, and grow both personally and together.
Grazie, Sebastian – and well done to all our students for embracing this opportunity with such enthusiasm!
