Valley View Secondary School celebrates cultural and social diversity through a school community rich in life and world experiences. I am proud to be leading the school’s journey as we continue to grow in year 8-12 student enrolments and expand our state of the art facilities to accommodate year 7s from 2022. Situated in the leafy green grounds surrounded by parklands, Valley View Secondary School utilises its unique location in the heart of the north eastern region of Adelaide to ensure that every student is given the opportunity to succeed. Explicit teaching and dynamic learning through dedicated and customised student support is at the front and centre of schooling at Valley View. Our team of passionate leaders, teachers and support staff deliver the Australian Curriculum and SACE subject offerings with specialist expertise to enable all students to succeed as learners and to realise their potential. At Valley View Secondary School, every student matters and underpinning our relentless focus on student achievement are the core values of Communication, Responsibility, Resilience and Attitude. These values are the foundation to developing student’s citizenship capability and the soft skills and attributes required for active participation in our global and interconnected society. Our motto, ‘Every Student Matters’ is reflected through the encouragement given to students to achieve their best and to engage in all aspects of school life: learning, leadership, decision making and community. Our well established student support structures and excellent community links are tailored to maximise student learning outcomes. I encourage you to take the time to explore our website and to embrace the unique learning opportunities available at Valley View Secondary School. I also invite you to join me on one of our Principal tours to see our school in action and to extend your understanding of our proud school community working with families and students.
