Something we've been discussing internally: the early learning sector is about to market to three generations at once.
Millennials trust community and transparency, they've read your reviews before booking a tour. Gen Z spots inauthenticity instantly, real educators beat polished brochures. Gen Alpha will search differently again.
What this looks like in practice:
โ Long-form trust content for Millennials
โ Raw, short-form video for Gen Z
โ Early community-building for future Gen Alpha parents
โ One consistent brand voice holding it together
We're working through this with the centres we support. Read the full blog here https://weareastute.com.au/early-learning-generational-marketing-millennials-gen-z-gen-alpha/

Big shoutout to the AEYS team members who have been up on the Sunshine Coast this week, hands-on helping with deliveries, moving furniture, and setting up the spaces for our new build centre!
Teamwork really does make the dream work. ๐ช

Marketing isn't just the fun stuff (though we love that part too!) Yes, there are whiteboard sessions full of ideas, sample packs to play with, and plenty of creativity along the way. But behind the scenes, marketing for childcare services is just as much about the hard conversations - adapting to changes in the sector, understanding what makes each service genuinely different, and making sure that point of difference actually resonates with families.
It's this mix of strategy and creativity that helps us tell the real story of a service - not just what it looks like, but what it stands for.

๐ง This week our team headed out to visit one of our clients' new build services currently under construction. We checked in on progress, reviewed the build against plans, and talked through ideas for the indoor and outdoor play spaces! It's great to get out and see the vision coming to life! ๐๏ธ

Leading a service? The scheme gives you clear responsibilities.
You'll need to:
๐น have systems in place to prevent, report, investigate and respond
๐น notify the QFCC of reportable allegations or convictions
๐น arrange an investigation and provide a final report to the QFCC
๐น provide information when the QFCC requests it
And crucially: if conduct may be criminal, you must report to police promptly โ police investigations take priority, while you continue to protect children's safety.
Strong systems now make this far less daunting later.
