Senior Athletics Carnival 3-6 ❤️💚💛
Congratulations to all students who today, participated in their athletics carnival. We saw effort, determination, and fantastic spirit on display led by our House Captains, along with a great sense of sportsmanship. We were fortunate to have a very special visit from Sammy Sapphire who enjoyed cheering on our students.

A special shout out to the 10-12years Age Champions who achieved the highest points total across events - 800m, 200m, 100m, long jump, shot put and discus.

Thank you to our Senior HPE teacher, Mr Taylor for his organisation and set up of the day and preparing the students in the lead up for their events.

The Junior Athletics Carnival will be held in Term 3.

UNDER 8's DAY is on next Thursday, 25 June for our Prep-Year 2 students and their families. Students in these year levels can wear free dress and will engage in a range of very fun activities on the top oval.

Student Council leaders are selling zooper doopers for $1 (cash only). CU Latte coffee van will also be onsite for parents and carers to purchase their morning beverage.

On Monday, our Year 6 students were honoured to have Federal Member for Oxley and Speaker of the House, Mr Milton Dick MP visit our school to present the Parliament in Schools session as part of their HASS learning about civics and democracy. They also had the privilege of handing one of the Australian flags flown atop Parliament House in Canberra. The flag is a massive 12.8 metres long, 6.4 metres wide and weighs 22 kilograms.

To complete the visit, Milton visited the Year 6 classrooms where students shared some of their writing on a notable person. Milton was thrilled to see he was featured in this task.

SENIOR ATHLETICS CARNIVAL (Yr3-6) is on this Thursday, 18 June at 9am. Students are invited to wear their House colours and will need their school hat, sunscreen and a water bottle. Student Council are selling zooper doopers for $1 (cash only)
