Kenmore Ward Primary Information

Next Sunday 18th, Primary will present two very beautiful Christmas numbers we have been learning, “When we Seek Him” and “Shine” – please come along and invite Grandma and Grandpa … Love from your Primary.

Kenmore Ward, bring your family and friends together for a joyous Christmas event. This Sunday evening 4th December 2022. Hear the Kenmore Youth Choir, enjoy beautiful Carols from the Musica Choir and special guests; community carol singing, and refreshments at 200 River Terrace, Kangaroo Point (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) 3 performances at 5.30pm; 6.45pm & 8pm ( please come 20 mins before the session you want to attend ) FREE EVENT all welcome!

We are looking for VOLUNTEER SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS over the CHRISTMAS NEW YEAR PERIOD. Please join us in the Happy Place, at PRIMARY! Must have a current Blue Card. Love, your Primary.

Late but not forgotten, are photos from the 2nd November, the Temple and Priesthood Preparation Night, and the graduating class of 2022; Valiant 10s with President Barbara Horsburgh, and their outstanding teachers Brother & Sister Latu. We are so proud of you, Love, the Primary Presidency.

NEXT SUNDAY 13 NOV 12NOON is our PRIMARY PRESENTATION. The children would love families and friends to come and join us, as we share the songs and principles, we have learnt this year in Primary. THEN, LET’S CELEBRATE. The children will relax after the Presentation, with pillows, cushions, and blankets as we enjoy a movie and popcorn on the floor. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE !! After that, we will Linger Longer for a snow cone Sunday outside the main entrance. Snow Cones for visitors and all the kids large and small!

MEET the young MISSIONARIES of Kenmore Ward! Special thanks to Sister Lamborn and Sister Mafi for a brilliant night learning about mission life. We loved the relays- practicing waking up early, having a quick sandwich, getting to meet investigators and looking up
Scriptures very quickly, and how to turn a “ no, we’re too busy to talk about the gospel’’  into a “yes, we can come back tomorrow night” . Much love. Your primary presidency.

TONIGHT at 6.30pm !!! at KANGAROO Point - VALIANT 10 STUDENTS and their PARENTS - are invited to our TEMPLE and PRIESTHOOD PREPARATION MEETING - The younger Primary children, will be in the Primary room for a fun missionary relay race please don't miss this; Love from your Primary Leaders.

Thank you to our Old Testament Heroes at our PAN PERFORMANCE Last week. We are so proud of your acting, singing , costumes, backdrops and props ( also thank you so much Tamra Chambers, Charlize Lealiee, Sione Tamafeuna and Brother Latu, as the voice of God) … the supper and to parents and the Youth for being a wonderful audience!
