Good afternoon everyone,
Yesterday, Miss Amberley's After School Care friends had a wonderful time getting creative with a variety of fresh fruit during our Fruit Creation Station. The children used their imaginations, creativity and problem-solving skills to transform different fruits into an incredible collection of unique characters, animals and imaginative creations.
It was wonderful to see the children planning their designs, making independent choices and taking great pride in their work. Their enthusiasm, originality and attention to detail were truly impressive, and each creation reflected the children's wonderful imaginations and individual personalities.
We are so proud of what they achieved and couldn't wait to share their fantastic creations with you all. Be sure to have a look at the photos below—you might even be inspired to create your own masterpiece at home!
Love,
Miss Toni and Miss Amberley 🌷

Good morning, everyone,

A big thank you to Miss Amberley, who has very generously shared an abundance of fresh, home-grown oranges, lemons, and grapefruit.

The fruit has been placed in the foyer for all of our families to enjoy. Please feel free to help yourselves and take some home. It's a wonderful opportunity to enjoy some delicious, fresh produce while it lasts.

We hope you enjoy this thoughtful gesture, and we extend our sincere thanks to Miss Amberley for her kindness and generosity.

Have a wonderful day!

Good morning everyone,

Our lost property collection has grown significantly, and we currently have an abundance of shoes, jumpers, and other clothing items that have not been claimed.

For your convenience, these items have been placed in the gated area at the front of the centre. We warmly invite all families to take a few moments to have a look through the collection. If you recognise something that belongs to your child, or if there is an unclaimed item that your family could make use of, please feel free to take it.

We would love for these items to find a home where they can be put to good use rather than remain unclaimed.

Any items remaining after next Friday will be donated to a local charity to support families within our community.

Thank you for your assistance and continued support.

Love, Miss Toni🌷

S is for Sensory!
Yesterday, the children enjoyed an engaging Under the Sea sensory experience, designed to encourage exploration, creativity, and hands-on learning. The sensory tray featured a variety of ocean-themed materials, including soft slime, textured sand, shells, pieces of coral, and an assortment of fish figures.

As the children touched, scooped, sorted, and explored the different materials, they were able to engage their senses while developing fine motor skills, language, and imaginative play.

The combination of textures, colours, and ocean-themed elements created a stimulating and exciting environment that sparked curiosity and encouraged meaningful conversations about marine life and underwater habitats.

This super-cool sensory experience provided a wonderful opportunity for discovery, investigation, and fun as the children immersed themselves in their own underwater world.

On Thursday the 14th of May, some of the children and educators proudly dressed up as pirates to participate in Pirate Day, a special fundraising and awareness event held in support of children and families affected by brain cancer.

Throughout the day, the children enthusiastically embraced the pirate theme, engaging in a range of creative and imaginative experiences. They designed and decorated pirate hats, eye patches, telescopes, and swords using a variety of craft materials, while also participating in pirate-themed songs, stories, and dramatic play opportunities.

These experiences encouraged creativity, communication, collaboration, and imaginative thinking as children worked together to create their own pirate adventures.

Pirate Day provided a meaningful opportunity to introduce the concept of helping others and being part of a caring community.
The day also fostered a sense of belonging, empathy, and social responsibility as children came together for a shared purpose.

It was wonderful to see the excitement, enthusiasm, and community spirit demonstrated throughout the day.

Thank you to all of our families for supporting this important cause and helping to make our Pirate Day such a memorable and meaningful experience for everyone involved. 🏴‍☠️💙

Good afternoon everyone,

I would like to take this opportunity to warmly invite all families to explore our Book Fair currently being held here at the centre.

If you and your little ones share a love of books as much as I do, it is certainly worth taking the time to have a look through the wonderful selection available. Encouraging a love of reading from an early age plays such an important role in supporting children’s language, imagination, creativity and lifelong learning.

The books are beautifully displayed in the front foyer for families to browse and purchase at their convenience. Every purchase also helps support the centre through additional resources and opportunities for the children.
I am usually finished for the day around 3:30pm; however, please feel free to speak with another staff member if you would like to purchase a book after this time. Please note that purchases made after 3:30pm will need to be cash only, as the tap-and-pay app is located on my phone.

Families are also more than welcome to create a little wish list and come back another day if needed.

Thank you for your ongoing support, and I hope you all enjoy having a browse through our lovely collection.

Love,
Miss Toni
