Mary Valley Early Learning Centre Mary Valley Early Learning Centre is a small, family based Long day care centre located in Imbil, Queensland. Our centre is shared into three age based rooms.

We offer age appropriate, educational based care for children from 15 months to school age. Our 'Little Yabba's' room is for children aged from 15 months - 30 months. The 'Rainbow' room is for children from 30 months to 42 months. Our Kindy room caters for children in their final year before starting Prep. Our Kindy room is guided by a university qualified Early Childhood teacher and is accredited by the Qld government. We feel honoured to be entrusted with the care and guidance of the most precious resource in the world 'the future generation'. We pride ourselves on having a friendly, welcoming and warm centre. We believe that the children in our centre will progress and develop best when they feel safe, nurtured and loved.

🌈✨ EXCITING NEWS – ONE KINDERGARTEN PLACE NOW AVAILABLE FOR 2027! ✨🌈

Good afternoon everyone,

We are very excited to announce that, due to a recent change in enrolments, ONE additional place has become available in our 2027 Kindergarten Program at Mary Valley Early Learning Centre! 🎉

Our Kindergarten Program is led by our wonderful, fully qualified Early Childhood Teacher, Miss Kylie, who brings over 20 years of experience in the early childhood education sector.

With her extensive knowledge, passion for early childhood education and nurturing approach, Miss Kylie provides a welcoming, engaging and supportive learning environment where children are encouraged to explore, discover, build confidence and develop the essential skills needed for a successful transition to Prep.

At Mary Valley Early Learning Centre, we pride ourselves on providing a warm, caring and family-oriented environment where every child is valued, supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Our Kindergarten Program focuses on developing independence, confidence, friendships, communication, early literacy and numeracy skills through meaningful, play-based learning experiences.

Good afternoon everyone,

Just a quick update to let you know that we still have ONE final place available in our Kindergarten program for 2027! 🎉
Our Kindy group is now almost at capacity, so if you have been considering enrolling your child with us next year, we encourage you to get in touch as soon as possible to avoid missing out.

We are looking forward to another wonderful year filled with learning, friendships, exploration, fun and preparing our children for their transition to school. 💕🌱

If you would like more information, would like to arrange a visit, or are ready to secure our last remaining Kindy position, please contact the centre.

It has been wonderful to see such an amazing response from families, and we are looking forward to welcoming our Kindy children for a fantastic year of learning, growing, exploring and preparing for school. 💕🌱

Another quick update on our 2027 Kindergarten enrolments— we are filling up very quickly and now have ONLY 3 SPACES REMAINING!🎉

It has been wonderful to see so much interest in our Kindergarten program, and we are so excited to welcome both our returning and new families for another wonderful year of learning, growing and preparing for school. 💗

If you are considering Kindergarten with us for 2027 and haven't yet secured your child's place, now is the time to get in touch. With only three positions remaining, we would hate for anyone who is hoping to join us to miss out.

Just a quick update following on from my Kindergarten 2027 post last week. Our places are filling quickly, and we now have only 4 spaces remaining in our kindergarten program for next year!

If you are considering enrolling your child with us for 2027, I encourage you to get in touch as soon as possible to avoid missing out. Did you know that Mary Valley Early Learning Centre offers a School Holiday Care Program for school-aged children?

We understand that school holidays can be a busy time for families, so our program provides children with a safe, welcoming and engaging environment where they can spend their holidays having fun, making memories and enjoying time with friends.

Throughout the holidays, children have opportunities to participate in a variety of fun experiences, including arts and crafts, cooking, science experiments, sensory activities, outdoor play, group games and child-led activities based on their interests.

How quickly this year is flying by! It’s hard to believe that 2027 is already fast approaching, which means it’s time to start thinking about Kindergarten for next year. 💛

If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming and nurturing Kindergarten program where your child can learn, play, grow and feel a genuine sense of belonging, we would love to welcome your family to Mary Valley Early Learning Centre.

Our Kindergarten program is led by our wonderful Miss Kylie, who recently joined the Mary Valley Early Learning Centre family. Miss Kylie brings more than 20 years of experience working with children and is a qualified Early Childhood Teacher. 💦 This Is the Way We Wash Miss Zephyr’s Hair! 💦🫧

Today in the Rainbow Room, the children decided that it would be lots of fun to give Miss Zephyr’s hair a wash — and of course, Miss Zephyr was happy to be their very willing volunteer! 😂💗

The children worked together and patiently took turns to wet Miss Zephyr’s hair, add the shampoo, gently wash and massage it through, before carefully rinsing it all out. We even added some conditioner to make sure Miss Zephyr’s hair was extra clean and soft!

Well… that was the plan anyway! By the end of the experience, it certainly wasn’t only Miss Zephyr’s hair that was wet! 💦😂 The children thought it was absolutely hilarious, and the laughter, excitement and joy were infectious.

While this experience was certainly lots of fun, it also provided some wonderful opportunities for learning. Through this hands-on experience, the children were developing an understanding of personal hygiene and self-care, learning about the steps involved in washing our hair and why keeping our bodies and hair clean is important.

Taking turns with the water, shampoo and conditioner encouraged sharing, patience, cooperation and communication, while squeezing bottles, pouring water and gently washing Miss Zephyr’s hair supported the development of fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and control.

Most importantly, experiences like this allow children to learn through real-life, meaningful play. When children are actively involved, laughing, experimenting and sharing an experience with their friends, learning becomes memorable and meaningful.

There were lots of smiles, lots of learning and A LOT of water! 😂💦

I have a feeling the Rainbow children might be hoping that washing Miss Zephyr’s hair becomes a regular part of our program!

🌈 WELCOME, MISS KYLIE! 🌈

Miss Kylie joins us with over 20 years of teaching experience, having worked with children across a variety of ages and year levels. After many years of teaching, she was ready to return to where her true passion lies – working with young children and supporting them through those incredibly important early years. ❤️

We are so excited to welcome Miss Kylie to our Kindergarten program and know that her wealth of knowledge, experience, warmth and passion will be a wonderful addition to our centre.

This marks an exciting new chapter for our Kindy Room and our entire Mary Valley family, and we can't wait to see all the wonderful learning, laughter and special memories ahead.

Good afternoon everyone,
Yesterday, Miss Amberley's After School Care friends had a wonderful time getting creative with a variety of fresh fruit during our Fruit Creation Station. The children used their imaginations, creativity and problem-solving skills to transform different fruits into an incredible collection of unique characters, animals and imaginative creations.
It was wonderful to see the children planning their designs, making independent choices and taking great pride in their work. Their enthusiasm, originality and attention to detail were truly impressive, and each creation reflected the children's wonderful imaginations and individual personalities.
We are so proud of what they achieved and couldn't wait to share their fantastic creations with you all. Be sure to have a look at the photos below—you might even be inspired to create your own masterpiece at home!
